Description

Eye magnet made of a permanent magnet material with a preferred magnetic direction The large tensile forces necessary for eye magnets are almost exclusively with Made with the help of electromagnets. Eye magnets made from a permanent magnet material have only come onto the market very sporadically; but they have not yet can prevail as the magnetic train. forces are too low or the magnet would become too unwieldy if the dimensions were correspondingly large. One use permanent magnets for eye magnets would, on the other hand, offer great advantages, especially with regard to the independence from any power source used in the outpatient medical care is very important. So it meant one great progress than one with the help of permanent magnet alloys with magnetic Preferred direction could easily achieve the tensile forces necessary for eye magnets. Nevertheless, the eye magnets found from a permanent magnet factory. fabric with magnetic Preferred direction not widespread use, because permanent magnets offer the possibility of regulation the tensile forces are not readily given. According to the present invention This objection is corrected by the fact that eye magnets are made from a permanent magnet material with a preferred magnetic direction between pole tip and magnet, one that can be rotated by 90 ° magnetic body is switched on, the connection between Produces magnet and pole tip and thus an uninterrupted increase in tensile force, very similar to switching on and increasing the current in an electromagnet, enables. When not in use, the magnet can be moved back by turning the Component short-circuited and thus prevented a weakening of the magnet.

Show an embodiment of an eye magnet according to the invention Figs. I and 2 of the drawing, in which 1 the permanent magnet with preferential direction g, 2 the magnetic yoke, which is also made of a permanent magnetic material may exist, 3 the rotatable magnetic yoke within the non-magnetic Part 4 and de reference number 5 the Pclspitze of the magnet, which is useful in itself known way consists of iron or iron-cobalt alloys and for removal of foreign objects from the eye.

Claims (1)

PATENT CLAIM: Eye magnet made from a permanent magnet material with a magnetic Preferred direction, characterized in that for the slow switching on of the magnetizing Force at the pole tip of the previously short-circuited magnet due to the rotary movement a magnetic short-circuit piece with the magnet at rest magnetically with the pole tip is to be connected.
