f Optische Farbtrennvorrichtung^^-) f Optical color separator ^^ -)
The innovation relates to an optical color separation device that can be inserted between a pickup lens and image pickup tubes for separating the light coming from the taking lens into three primary colors and directing the separated ones Radiation components on the image pickup tubes arranged in the image planes of the radiation components.
The innovation is based on the task of an optical color separation device to specify the three-color separation, which has a compact structure.
In an optical color separation device of the type mentioned at the outset, this is achieved according to the invention in that the color separator is an array of prisms that are cemented to one another Has prisms, the surfaces of the prism arrangement approximately in the shape of an equilateral Have triangles and a filter layer is provided on at least one of the cemented surfaces of the prisms.

Further refinements of the innovation result from the subclaims.
The innovation will now be explained in more detail with reference to the drawings, in which FIGS. 1 to 4 are schematic sectional views of preferred embodiments of the color separation device according to the invention are shown. Denote therein 1 a taking lens and 6,6 ', 6 ", 15 and 16 the image pickup tubes.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 for three-color separation, 21 denotes a three-color separation Prismaanord voltage. The prism arrangement 21 consists of a prism 22, which is represented by a triangle ABD, a prism 23 designated by the triangle BDE, and a prism 24 represented by the triangle AEC. The prisms 22 and 23 stand along those surfaces which are defined by the straight line BD is shown in contact with each other. The surface of the prism 22 represented by the line AD and the surface of the prism represented by the straight line DE are in contact with the surface of the prism 24 designated by the line AE. An angle BAD of the prism 22 is equal to an angle CAE of the prism 24 and an angle ABD of the prism 22 is equal to an angle DBE of the prism 23, the & e angles each amounting to 30 °. On the surface AD, on which the prism 22 touches the prism 24, there is a dichroic

scher Spiegel 24 angeordnet. On the surface BD ,. At which the prism 22 touches the prism 23 there is a dichroic mirror 26. Of these dichroic mirrors, the dichroic mirror 25 transmits, for example, red light versus white light and reflects blue and green light. The dichroic mirror 26 reflects the blue light and transmits the green light. Therefore, the light from the taking lens which is incident on the prism assembly 21 for three-color separation passes through the surface AB of the prism 25; the light that has passed through the dichroic mirror 25 is totally reflected on the surface AC and enters the receiving tube 6 '. The blue and green light reflected by the dichroic mirror 25 is totally reflected on the surface AB. The blue light is reflected by the next dichroic mirror 26 and enters the receiving tubes 6 ", while the green light passes through the dichroic mirror 26 and enters the receiving tube 6. From Fig. 1 it can be seen that the straight line HI and the straight line JM, ie light rays entering the receiving tubes 6 and 6 1. These two receiving tubes are therefore arranged in such a way that their axes are parallel to one another. In addition, the angles FGJ and JKN are each 60 ° dichroic mirrors 25 and 26 incident light rays are therefore to 3o ° and consequently the

Farbschattierung sehr klein. Shade of color very small. The prism arrangement for three-color separation is also arranged to have an equilateral shape as a whole. From Fig. 1 it also follows that the optical length in this prism arrangement is always equal to the length of the straight line Line AE is and therefore the optical length of this prism arrangement after conversion into an optical length in air AE / n corresponds, where η represents the refractive index of the prism. This optical length is considerably shorter compared to optical length of the known optical system. It is therefore possible to adjust the back focus of the taking lens very much to keep it small.
Zu der in Fig. 1 gezeigten AusführungsformFig. 2 shows a second embodiment of the innovation: The illustrated in this figure prism arrangement for three-color separation, which is designated by 31, has a 1 has a structure similar to that of the prism arrangement according to FIG has prisms 32, 33 and 34. The numerals 35 and each denote a dichroic mirror. Because When changing the arrangement of the respective prisms, the pickup tube 6 ″ is at a different position arranged. However, this embodiment is more essential the same as was explained in connection with FIG. In Fig. 3 is a third embodiment of the invention shown. To the embodiment shown in FIG

Die is here a prism added 47 to the optical path of divert onto the receiving tube 6 "incident light to 9o °. In the first and second embodiments, which are shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the pick-up tube are 6 and 6 * such . the axis of the pickup tube, however, 6 "is in a different direction or different; that those axes are parallel to each other. The angle between the axis of the receiving tube 6 "and the axes of the two other tubes is kept very small in the embodiment shown in Fig. 3 by using the prism 47. Correction of the influence of terrestrial magnetism is consequently much easier and the device as a whole can The optical length of the light entering the pickup tube 6 ″ assumes a different fourth because of the use of the prism 47. In order to make the optical lengths of the other light beams equal to the optical length of the light entering the pick-up tube 6 ", a prism assembly 41 for three-color separation is made by combining a prism 42, which is represented by the triangle ABD, a prism 43, outlined by the Square ACC 1 E and a prism 44, outlined by the square BB 1 CD, is also provided. It is also possible to construct this prism arrangement 41 by separating the prisms 4 3 and 44 along the dashed line and by cementing a gas block BCC 1 B 1 onto the To arrange or use the prism device 21 shown in FIG

Reference numerals 45 and 46 denote dichroic mirrors, respectively, similarly to the other embodiments.
In FIG. 4, a fourth embodiment of the innovation is shown, wherein this optical system is used for three-color separation in Färbfernsehkameras with two pick-up tubes. The numerals 1, 14 and 15 denote a pickup lens, a pickup tube for the chrominance signals and a pickup tube for the luminance signals, respectively. The prism arrangement for three-color separation, which comprises a prism 52 and a prism 53, is denoted by 51. With 54 a strip filter is named, which contains one or more multilayered or multilayered interference filters and is formed on the cemented surface of the prism 52 and the prism 53 for supplying the respective colors of the three primary colors. The light or the light beam passes through the strip filter 54 and is divided into three primary colors, red, blue and green, which serve as light beams for the chrominance or chromaticity. In the primary assembly 51, the prism 52 has a shape illustrated by the triangle ABE, with an angle BAE being about 30 °; the prism 53 has the shape represented by the triangle ACE and the angle CAE is about 30 °,

In the fourth embodiment mentioned above, this occurs from The light coming from the recording or photo lens 1 enters the prism 52 via the surface AB and continues to pass through the strip filter 54 is the interference filter and is divided into three colors. Then this light resp. this light beam is totally reflected by the surface AC of the prism 53, exits again via the surface EC and arrives into the tube 15 for the chrominance signals. On the other hand, the light coming from the taking lens 1 becomes the light reflected by the strip filter 54 after entering the prism 52 via the surface AB through the Surface AB of prism 52 is totally reflected, then passes through surface BE and ultimately becomes the pickup tube 16 for the luminance signals. In this case, the prisms 52 and 53 are designed so that the light, which is directed to the pickup tube 16 for the luminance signals, after total reflection by the surface AB of the prism AB is parallel to the other light or light beam, which or which on the receiving tube 15 for the chrominance signals after reflection by the Surface AC of the prism 53 is directed.
Das LichtThe fourth embodiment described can also be arranged in the following way: On the cemented surface of the two prisms 52 and 53, the prism arrangement 51 can be designed as a semitransparent or semitransparent surface instead of using a strip filter. The light

In diesem Fall kann das Streifenfilter zur Farbtrennung vor der Aufnahmeröhre 15 zur Aufnahme des Lichts für die Chrominanz angeordnet sein.from the taking lens 1 is then due to a light beam for the luminance and a light beam for the chrominance subdivided into the semi-permeable area. In this case, the strip filter can be used for color separation in front of the pickup tube 15 be arranged to receive the light for the chrominance.
The embodiments described are each such arranged that the angle of incidence on the dichroic en Mirror is 3o. For example, in the first embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the angles BAE, CAE, DBA and DEB each determined to 3o due to the aforementioned purpose. However, these angles are not at 3o limited, but can also be larger or smaller than 30 °. However, it is desirable that the angles be about 3o + 5 °. When solid-state image scanning beams, for example so-called CCD (charge coupled devices) are used as an image pickup tube, the color television camera as a whole can be made very compact will.
The optical separator according to the invention for three-color separation, as explained in the above embodiments, has various advantages. The angle of incidence on the dichroic mirror is advantageously about 3o °, so that it is possible to use the Color shading, i.e. keeping the color shading extremely small. It is also advantageous that no pre- or
7432982 04.08.777432982 08/04/77
Strengthening lenses are necessary, as it is also possible to to arrange at least two receiving tubes parallel to each other, adjustment for the influence of geomagnetism can be carried out easily. In particular in the third embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the one "pick-up tube" can be arranged in this way be that the angle between this pickup tube and the other two pickup tubes is very small, which is special for recruitment is desirable. Another advantage is that the arrangement as a whole can be kept compact. It is also possible to keep the optical length in the prism arrangement smaller than with known / optical systems and it can be ^ iuch use a taking lens that has a small focal length. With regard to the fourth embodiment of the in Fig. 4 shown optical separation device can be mentioned as an advantage that the area for separating the Light in three primary colors together with the area for separating the light or the light rays into light for the Chrominance and light for which luminance is used. This embodiment thus has the advantage that the loss of lichi intensity is reduced to a minimum compared to the known optical systems. The angle of incidence opposite the interference filter for color separation is advantageously small, for example it is 30 ° and a favorable color separation is achieved; It is also possible to change the colors of the light rays or the light with the desired high purity.
