d.li. sehr große Drahtseillängen in Frage kommen, lind ferner hohe Drücke, hohe
aus dehnbarem Glyptal, d. i.
Steel wire rope for drilling purposes, in which the wire rope has electrical
Lead wires are included The innovation relates to wire ropes, which are particularly
for earth drilling, for example for oil, are suitable and at their ends or
carry tools at certain distances that are operated from the surface of the earth
will. For this purpose, there are one or more electrical cables in the wire rope core
Lead wires housed. With regard to the nature of the drilling operation,
for which the wire ropes are to be used and at which mostly very great depths,
d.li. Very long wire rope lengths come into question, as well as high pressures, high pressures
Temperatures as well as chemical and mechanical stresses must be taken into account at the same time
must be. 'Pay special attention to the accommodation of this electrical supply line
given «- earth. Above all, it must be prevented that the leaders of this
electrical supply line can be damaged under mechanical stress. It has to
for this purpose for a certain independence from the outer wire rope and the inner one
Supply line to be taken care of. It is particularly important that this independence
even at the lowest and highest temperatures occurring in the company and
is maintained at all occurring water pressures. It is already a drill rope version
known in which between the electrical conductor and the wire rope surrounding it
an intermediate layer made of round strands on a fabric surrounding the insulation of the conductor
made of stretchable glyptal, d. i. Glycei-inphthalic acid ester, is arranged. Such
Böhrseilausführung has only a short life, since this substance "neither in mechanical
meets the requirements for drilling ropes from a chemical point of view.
Under the one
The effect of the water pressure becomes the viscous
Glyptal pushed away, so that at the relevant point of the rope the purpose of
geeignet. When the outer rope and the inner conductor move against each other, Glyptal does not withstand, because a displacement of its mass particles occurs. If, with this in mind, Glyptal is used in a state of somewhat greater hardness, then it is no longer sufficient with regard to the flexibility required for drilling ropes. Furthermore, it is also not sufficiently resistant to the temperature differences occurring during drilling operations. The invention also relates to a steel wire rope for drilling purposes, in which electrical lead wires are accommodated in the wire rope; According to the invention, a sufficiently plastic, well-adhering, chemically and mechanically resistant and heat-resistant intermediate layer made of polyisobutylene or polyvinyl chloride or a copolymer of polyvinyl chloride is present between the conductor insulation and the inner surface of the wire rope, which can withstand all chemical, mechanical and thermal stresses on the insulation surface of the conductor and adhered to the inner surface of the wire rope. The actual wire rope, which is stranded over this layer, is designed, for example, as a stranded conductor, the flat strands of which consist of very many thin wires. The plastic mass between this wire rope and the inner signal line forms an intermediate layer which prevents moisture from penetrating into the conductor or to the conductor insulation and which, on the other hand, adheres both to the inner surface of the cable and to the outer surface of the conductor insulation - if between the two a certain relative movement occurs as a result of the stress on the wire rope by the tools or the weight. The plastics mentioned meet the required properties of adhesion at all temperatures occurring in such operations and remain stable even at temperatures of a few degrees Celsius below zero and at fairly high temperatures of up to about 1000 C. Polyisobutylene in particular is suitable for this purpose.
These substances remain at the temperatures that occur in drilling operations
almost uniformly plastic and flexible and chemically resistant. The one when drilling
acting opposite on the inner and outer surface of the intermediate layer
directed movement forces do not cause damage to the insulation layer,
because these substances move within themselves without shifting the mass particles.
Furthermore, due to their rubber-like consistency, these substances can be exposed to the effects
withstand the water pressures occurring during drilling operations.
