Molten metal, in particular for lead cable presses The invention relates
on a metal melt, in particular lead melt for lead cable presses
Raisable and lowerable block table arranged next to the melting trough. By means of the table
the blocks are lifted up to the melting trough, then by operators from the
The table was removed and placed in the melting trough. There is a stack of blocks on top
the table, then the lifting device must after each time a block layer has been removed
of the table and the table in the most favorable working position for the melting trough
brought and stopped in this. This makes constant monitoring
required for the lifting movement of the table.
enthalten. The invention is intended to simplify this working process of the table
will; this is achieved 'that the lifting movement of the table after removal
automatically initiated in a block position and automatically when the working position is reached
is terminated. A control of the block table by the operator of the melting trough
is no longer necessary. Further features of the invention are in the description
contain.

dessen Stange 6 tragende Querbalken 8 hängt an beiden Enden an Ketten 1o, deren
ausgeschaltet. Ist die Blocklage bo abgenommen, so gelangt die Blocklage b. in Arbeitsstellung;
It denotes z the melting trough open at the top, which is covered by a hood; the latter consists of a stationary part 2 and a pivotable part 3. With q. denotes the feeding device onto which the ingots to be fed to the melting trough are brought. A block table 5 is arranged next to the melting trough r, which rests on a rod 6 that can be raised and lowered and serves to receive a stack of blocks. The rod 6 is guided in the stationary bearing body 7 and is supported by a transverse beam 8 through the intermediary of the roller bearing 9. The "rod 6" is rotatable in the bearing body 7 and thus also the block table 5. In this way, the blocks located on the table, alternating longitudinally and transversely in layers, can easily be moved into the correct position, ie the longitudinal position for the block feed q of the melting trough The cross beam 8 carrying the block table 5 or its rod 6 hangs at both ends on chains 1o, the free end of which is attached to a disk 12 that is non-rotatably mounted on the shaft 1i The longitudinal center axis of the rod 6 is denoted by R. The disc 13, on which a weight G hangs by means of the chain 14, is seated non-rotatably Block layers b1 to b7 The center-to-center distance of the shaft 11 from the longitudinal shaft axis of the weight G is denoted by R. In the case of a block table occupied by seven block layers, of which the above first block layer b 7 is in the correct position opposite the feed table 4. of the melting trough i, the weight G is dimensioned so that the table 5 rests on the bearing 7, so it is G. R <B # r, where B is the weight of the table 5, the support rod 6 together with the roller bearing 9, the cross rod 8 and the block layers b1 to b7. It is assumed that the weights of the disks 12, 13 and the chains 1o and 14 are balanced. The frictional and chain bending resistances have not been taken into account. If the top block layer b7 is now removed, G. R > (B-b7) #y. As a result, the weight G is lowered and the block table 5 is raised. As soon as the block position b. has reached the maximum position, the weight g7 is switched off as described below. If the block layer bo has been removed, the block layer b comes into play. in working position; at this moment the weight g6 is switched off and so on. Weights g 7 to g2 are switched off in the following way. If the topmost block layer b7 has been removed, weight G (weights glbisg7) is lowered, since the previous state of equilibrium between weights G and B is disturbed. When the blockage b has reached its working position (FIG. 2), the attachments 15 arranged on the weight g7 settle on the stationary attachments 17 of a type on the support frame 16. The effect of the weight 97 on the table 5 is thereby switched off. If the block layer b6 is removed during further charging of the melting trough, the weights gs to g1 are lowered while the table 5 is raised. As soon as the block layer b .; has reached its working position, the weight g6 has lowered so freely that the pins 18 arranged on it are held by the brackets 19 (see Fig. 3), which hang on bolts 2o arranged on the weight g7. At this moment, the weight g6 with respect to the table 5 is ineffective. Turning off the following weights g ,; to 92 takes place in a similar way, in that the weights g. bisg, attach by means of pins 18 and bracket 19 to the weight already switched off above.
Instead of, as in the exemplary embodiment, as a lifting device for the
Block table to use a weight made up of individual weights that can be switched off,
the block table can also be operated under the action of another lifting means, such as a pressurized water piston
or preloaded springs, the lifting means automatically lifting the block table
lift into working position after removing a block layer. The block table can
locked in the working position.
