Apparatus for fine filtering of lubricating oil The invention relates to
a device for fine filtering of lubricating oil, especially in internal combustion engines.
It is known, in addition to the coarse filters, in oil circuits of Brennkraftmas chinein
Also to use fine filters to get the most out of the lifespan of the
Brennkraftmaschiul to achieve an increasing cleaning of the lubricating oil. Because the fine filter
when filtering the same amount of oil must be many times greater than
the coarse, has, for reasons of space and material savings, gone over to
through the fine filter only part of the oil flow that passes through the coarse filter
is going to send, so that after a corresponding number of oil circulations it is expected
it can be that practically the entire amount of oil also passed through the fine filter
is. For this purpose, a branch line was connected to the main oil line,
which leads to the fine filter and in which a Drossrel disc was installed. The cleaned
Oil then drained from the fine filter into the oil pan. However, this version has the
Disadvantage that with heavy pollution, d. H. Constipation, Ides Filters, The Effect
the throttle disc in connection with the greatly diminished or completely lifted
Flow velocity is more or less canceled and finally the full pressure
the main oil line acts on the fine filter. This high pressure is the fine filter
with its sensitive tissues as a rule but not grown, so that in this one
If the filter is destroyed.
In order to remedy this disadvantage, a part of the
Lubricating oil parallel to the main oil flow using a dynamic pressure difference
by the
Fine filter passed. The feed line to the fine filter
protrudes as a pitot tube and the discharge line from the filter as a suction tube
Main line into it. With appropriate training of the mouths of the stagnation and the
Suction pipe in relation to the flow cross-section of the main oil line can be achieved
be that about 5 to 6010 of the total amount of oil flows through the fine filter.
The advantage of the filter device according to the invention is first
Line in the fact that the fine filter switches off automatically in the event of severe contamination.
There can be no increasing pressure on the filter and its sensitive fabric inserts
act so that the fine filter cannot be destroyed even if
it is not cleaned for a long time.
The drawing shows the arrangement of the fine filter in a schematic manner
shown according to the invention, for example.
The lubricating oil comes through the main line I from the one not shown
Pump and flows in the direction of the arrow through the coarse filter 2. Behind the coarse filter
2, the fine filter 3 is connected in parallel to the main line 1, and that protrudes
Feed pipe 4 as a pitot tube in the main oil flow and the discharge pipe 5 as a suction pipe
also into the main oil flow. The nvischren the two pipe mouths existing
Pressure difference causes part of the lubricating oil flow to flow through the
Fine filter 3. It has been shown that les is useful when the mouths of the
Storage and suction pipe in relation to the flow cross-section of the main oil line so
are designed that about 5 to 60/0 of the total amount of oil through the fine filter
flows. The mouths of the storage or suction pipe 4, 5 can for example
can also be funnel-shaped, but the adaptation to the respective remains
Left to circumstances.
The device according to the invention is of course not on
The filtering of lubricating oil in internal combustion engines is bound, but can be used anywhere
They are used where, in addition to coarse filtering, there is also an additional fine filtering
of liquids is required.
