Description

Schleifen von Gewinden Das Patent 669 53o betrifft das Schleifen von Gewinden mit dem besonderen Merkmal, daß das Gewinde mit dem entsprechend profilierten Innenrand einer ringförmigen Schleifscheibe geschliffen wird. Ringförmige Schleifscheiben sind zum Hinterschleifen der Schneiden von Reibahlen, Gewindebohrern oder Holzlanglochbohrern bereits bekannt. Entsprechend diesen Zwecken handelt es sich dabei um Schleifringe von geringem Durchmesser. Die Erfindung bezieht sich dagegen auf die Ausgestaltung des Schleifens von Gewinden nach dem obigen Patent ,an besonders großen Werkstücken von höchstmöglicher Genauigkeit. Es handelt sich dabei darum, eine Schleiffläche und Schleifkante von besonders großer Dauerhaftigkeit verfügbar zu haben, die raumtechnisch in vollkommenster und bequemster Weise ausgenützt werden kann, so daß Übersichtlichkeit und leichte Bedienbarkeit der Einrichtung gegeben sind, und die infolge ihrer großen Beständigkeit höchste Genauigkeit des Schliffes ergibt. Dies ist auf der an sich bekannten Grundlage .erreicht, daß der Schleifscheibenträger an" beiden Stirnseiten offen ist, so daß das Werkstück hindurchgeführt werden kann. Dabei ist gemäß der Erfindung der Öffnungsdurchmesser derart groß-, daß die 'zum Schleifen und zur Bedienung der Maschine notwendigen, in oder nahe .der Schleifringebene liegenden Maschinenteile und der die Maschine Bedienende vom Schleifring umfaßt werden. Es ist zwar schon bekannt, Drehbänke so groß zu bauen, daß das Werkstück durch den ringförmigen Träger der Drehwerkzeuge hindurchtreten kann, der die Bedienungsbühne der Maschine punkt dient aber besonders die Erfindung.
