Description
Hollow jacket pipe The invention aims to create pipes for Pressure and vacuum vessels, pipelines, weapon tubes, shelters, tunnel linings -and other areas of use of hollow bodies, which with simple technical Manufacture and relatively low weight the greatest possible strength against occurring stresses.
There are already hollow jacket pipes with truss-like stiffeners between then in-. and the outer tube. ' The main feature of the The innovation consists in the fact that in the case of the two or more nested, smooth-walled. Pipes existing hollow jacket pipes and hollow bodies as stiffening bodies Corrugated pipes with corrugated lengthways or crossways are used, at the points of contact with the coats. , by a known working method such as B. welding, screwing, Riveting, etc., are firmly connected.
These and other features can be found in the drawing, in which some Embodiments are shown, and will be apparent from the following description. FIG. 1 shows the cross section of a hollow jacket tube, FIG. 2 shows the plan view Fig. I, Fig.3 shows the cross section through a hollow jacket tube, the wall spaces are filled with a filling compound, Fig. q. the cross section through a hollow jacket tube with crossed sheets, FIG. 5 shows the longitudinal section of a hollow jacket tube according to FIG. 4th
The hollow jacket tube shown in Fig. I consists .aus an inner one Tube i and an outer tube 2, between which the corrugated tube 3 is located. All three tubes are fitted into one another in such a way that the vertices of the Waves of the corrugated pipe the inner wall of the outer pipe or: the jacket. of the inner, i touch the pipe. In these lines of contact the pipes are welded together, riveted or connected to one another in any other known manner.
One chooses for the fastening of the derivation lines of the design elements (e.g. in Fig. r pipe r, tube 3 and pipe 2) an electrical welding process, so would have to be in the production of the weld seam between corrugated tube 3 and smooth tube 2 a special inner electrode can be used, which is at least over half - length of such a tube can be inserted into the shaft cavity. As this in particular, when making longer tube becomes difficult and cumbersome as shown in FIG. 2 pre-arranged, the, outer tube along the lines of contact with the corrugated iron 3 rides holes to be provided, so that the connection of the pipe with the corrugated sheet can be produced from the outside by means of plug welding. In such a case it is recommended for. the tube 2 is a so-called perforated To use a tube whose perforation holes run along the lines of contact.
So z. In Figure 3, a hollow jacket tube according to the invention is .darstellung, in which the cavities of the wall by a cooling medium, resistance material o: the like. are filled out. This version offers a number of technical uses, which, in particular, through the structural design of the `walls in connection with the special strength properties of the hollow jacket pipes are given. So z. B. you can. in this way vessels for the heat exchange of two or more Produce media, one of which is in the pipe and the other in the gaps between the walls is performed, with the particular advantage of significantly lower material thicknesses compared to previous constructions of the same Elbe measurements for the same pressure and purpose is to be emphasized. These lower material thicknesses are due to - the invention Constructive peculiarity of the hollow jacket pipes conditional. The construction is likely to , therefore for the production of vessels for the chemical industry in the boiler, economiser; Air preheater and pipeline construction as well as for radiators are particularly valuable prove.
In weapon technology, the hollow jacket construction offers the possibility of producing pipes whose walls are much less thick than the previously 1 # envenclet pipes made of homogeneous walls. Apart from the fact that this ensures faster heat dissipation and thus less stress on the material, cooling media such as air, water, etc., can inevitably be conducted or pressed through the wall cavities in this case and thus the service life and performance of such weapon barrels Hollow jacket pipes are significantly increased. When using the hollow body construction for floating and diving bodies, such as diving bells, submarine bodies. etc., the wall cavities can be used as flood cells, while they are used as tunnel pipes etc., z. B. in mining, can serve as air or weather guide channels. In the latter, fold, the possibility is to be seen as very advantageous that air outlet openings can be provided at any point without additional pipelines or the like thereby narrowing or impairing the tunnel cross-section. -When using hollow jacket pipes as protection room pipes or similar 1. the wall cavities can be covered with elastic. Material filled and thereby the splinter and puncture protection are increased significantly. It is also essential that this can be done on the spot and .due to that, only the weight of the hollow jacket tube without filler material comes into question for transport. ' The use of hollow jacket tubes in aircraft construction is given .dah z. B. the fuselage cross: is made from such hollow jacket tubes; to which .then the wings, the engine head and the tail part can be flanged: In Fig. q. and FIG. 5 shows an embodiment in which, when there are several tubes inserted one inside the other, longitudinally or transversely corrugated tubes are alternately arranged in the interstices lying one on top of the other. The structure of the walls is shown in the cross section of Fig. 4 in such a way that the corrugated iron pipe 2 r then the llantel22 on the inner jacket 20 and on this a corrugated iron pipe 23, the corrugations of which lie transversely to the pipe axis (see longitudinal section Fig. 5 ), and on this - again exactly as before the tubes 24, 25 and 26. Of course, an arrangement can also be made in which only the shafts of two corrugated tubes cross each other, since in this case the bracing by the mutually -contacting (crossing) apex lines of the weir pipes is given. With such an arrangement it is not necessary; that each j shaft tube is enclosed between smooth tubes. On the other hand, you can combine the layering of the wall as desired, so z. B. alternately arrange tubes with a smooth cross-section and those with a profile cross-section, with the profile lines also being able to cross, etc., as is already shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, for example. Furthermore, the individual tubes or profile parts of a hollow jacket tube can also consist of different materials, with the respective combination of materials being able to be adapted to the desired purpose, taking into account the possibility of connecting them.
A very significant advantage of the innovation of downright economic Significance is that .by the use of hollow jacket tubes and hollow jacket body constructions Material and thus also weight is saved. Tests on a hollow jacket pipe from 175 mm inner diameter and 1 m length, consisting of inner jacket, corrugated iron pipe and outer jacket, each with a wall thickness of 1 mm, which are connected to one another according to the invention have shown that -the weight and material savings compared to a solid-walled pipe with the same diameter and for the same loads is about 35%. It is particularly noteworthy that * not yet with this verse the maximum could be determined because once the connection was made by welding as a result of the primitive breeding only poorly made, and furthermore the proof could only be increased up to 30 atmospheres, because the available direct pump could not delivered more. The technical value of such a weight saving comes out particularly valid for the use of the object according to the invention, for the production of submarine bodies, floating drums, aircraft fuselages, pressure vessels and pressure pipelines for vehicles, especially ships, gun barrels, etc. The material savings are no less important, especially since they are made possible by the possibility of combining them of materials in relation to the use of domestic products can be.
