Abstract
Description
Spreizspektrum-Kommunikationen bzw. Spread spectrum communications Messages are currently being used for a number of commercial Applications are used and are expected to spread as demand after unbound message links increases.
To the An example is an orthogonal CDMA (OCDMA) system for an office PBX system by Magill et al. in "Spread Spectrum Technology for Commercial Applications, Proc. Of the IEEE, June 1994 this case transmits or sends the base station of this star-shaped network one Set of orthogonal Rademacher-Walsh functions (RW), which are combined with a Pseudo noise (PN (pseudonoise)) sequence are superimposed. Any orthogonal Function carries Language or data for a single user. See M.J. E. Golay, IDA Report 108, p 110 (1965), which discloses this basic signal format.
The discussion Magill et al., is for a short-range system in which it makes sense for network members or participants on the reverse link To provide TDMA time slots to transmit a signal for timing and synchronization purposes. In this way, an empty slot for one Participants reserved for joining the network at any time. This technique becomes inefficient and is not useful if the path lengths are long and the propagation time between users is considerable varies, such as in a satellite system.
In WO-A-9421056 and EP-A-639 899 is a communication method with random Access using CDMA and a system for moving stations, the the method used shown. Each of the mobile stations sets delay amounts randomly for each message to be transmitted based on the symbol timing given by a base station is received at the transmission signal a delay to give. The base station inversely decrypts (defuse) a received signal at a standard symbol timing for each of the to win mobile stations and allows demodulators in each case the inverted diffusion output at the obtained timing receive and demodulate the received signal.

The NEC creates a facility for the Users request a network access request with high connection latitude due to low data rate and low access noise. The use of a short code at a lower rate on the NEC (as on the traffic channels) allows fast acquisition of the PN signal despite time uncertainties.
BESCHREIBUNG DER ZEICHNUNGENDESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The above and other objects, Advantages and features of the invention will become clearer when with the following description and the accompanying drawings be considered, in which:
INS EINZELNE GEHENDE BESCHREIBUNG DER ERFINDUNGDETAILED DESCRIPTION THE INVENTION
Signalstruktursignal structure
Of the basic purpose of the reverse link is to send data from the user to the ground station GS. The data transmission rate is for explanatory purposes taken as 5,200 bps. The data is further than the rate 1/2 encrypted accepted. The data modulation is Quadratic Phase Shift Encryption (QPSK (Quadr. Phase shift keying)), so that the Channel symbol rate then 5,200 sps.

Reverse link OCDMA operation requires all Users arrive at the ground station in time and frequency synchronism, therefore will be for Network access and initial Synchronization provided a separate channel. It should be noted the existence non-synchronous user (with performance equal to that of other users), which tries to enter the network on the OCDMA frequency the ground station will not be detected due to access noise could, if the system were close to full load. This is because one considerably larger number of connections on a single frequency for an OCDMA system can be compared with a conventional one CDMA system, as the signals are orthogonal when passing through a Rademacher-Walsh function period are averaged. In the same way the access noise is correspondingly greater if not in synchronism and would detecting a non-synchronous signal in a reasonable way Prevent time span.

The User NEC signal is sent to the ground station GS with some initial Time and frequency uncertainty receive. The received C / No is nominally about 42 dB-Hz based on a Eb / No = 5 dB at 5,200 bps.
Suppose the ground station receiver searches the network access channel in steps of half a chip. At each code phase position, the frequency uncertainty is checked for signal energy. For the moment, assume that this is done with an FFT. The performance in each of these FFT sections is examined for signal presence. Once the signal is sensed, the delay lock (DLL) and the automatic frequency control (AFC) loop can be turned on and data modulation started.
As soon as the network access channel detected and demodulated, the ground station can call the user assign a suitable frequency and R-W function. The ground station continues to send a frequency and time correction to the user, so that the User is in near time synchronization towards the network access. Around To better understand this process, suppose that the ground station GS tracks the network access code phase to better than 5% of a chip, i.e. less than a pseudonoise chip on the traffic channel (TC (traffic channel)). The ground station commands the user to one certain frequency and assigns an R-W function. The ground station also provides time and frequency correction data. If the user is on the Traffic channel sending begins, the ground station code and the AFC tracking loops are used immediately and the Data demodulation will be started. Further time and frequency corrections will be sent to the user as needed.
