Abstract

Process for the manufacture of articles from paper pulp, comprising: 1) a forming stage in which paper pulp is applied to a mould in the shape of the article, and 2) a stage of drying the previously deposited paper pulp, in which heat is applied to the article previously shaped in the mould. According to the invention, during the two stages the mould (1) is stationary and substantially horizontal, the lower part (3) of the mould pointing upwards. In addition, during the shaping stage an overpressure is maintained at room temperature on the outer side (5) of the mould in relation to the inside (3) of the mould (1).
