Gegenüber bekannten Vorrichtungen dieser Art bestehen gemäß der Erfindung die Mischkörper aus Einsatzstücken mit je einem sich in der Strömungsrichtung verjüngenden Einlaß, von dem vorzugsweise senkrecht zur Strömungsrichtung liegende, sternförmig angeordnete Kanäle ausgehen, durch welche die den Schaum bildenden Stoffe zu in der Strömungsrichtung liegenden Bohrungen geführt werden. Zweckmäßig haben die Bohrungen zweier hintereinanderliegender Mischkörper verringerten Durchmesser; auch kann nach dem Auslaß hin die Anzahl der Bohrungen der einzelnen Mischkörper vermehrt sein. Durch Zwischenschaltung von Ringen werden die Einsatzstücke im Abstand voneinander angeordnet. Dabei beruht die vorliegende Erfindung auf der Erkenntnis, daß ein hohes Druckgefälle in einfacher Weise vermieden werden kann, wenn man die den Schaum bildenden Stoffe zunächst in kegelig ausgebildeten Einlaß stücken zusammenführt, dann zu sternförmig angeordneten Kanälen gelangen und durch Bohrungen in der Wandung der sternförmigen Kanäle abströmen läßt. Auf diese Weise erfolgt eine stetige Durchmischung der den Schaum bildenden Stoffe, ohne daß ein hohes Drúckgefälle notwendig ist. Von diesen Einlässen K, K' gehen senkrecht zur Rohrachse liegende, sternförmig angeordnete kanäle e, e' aus, in deren Wandungen zur Rohrachse gleichlaufende Bohrungen f, f' angeordnet sind. Dabei haben die Bohrungen 1' des Einsatzstückes d' geringeren Durchmesser als die Bohrungen 1 des Einsatzstückes d.
