Es ist bereits bekannt, zur Erhöhung der Abschaltleistung mehrere Unterbrechungsstellen anzuordnen, die an beiden Seiten der Auslösespule untergebracht sind. Es ist ferner bekannt, die Unterbrechungskontakte außerhalb der Achsmitte des Spulenkernes so anzuordnen, daß der Lichtbogen während der Ausschaltbewegung nach der Spulenachsmitte zu in ein immer stärkeies Magnetfeld geblasen wird. Bei Selbstschaltern mit auf beiden Stimseiten angeordneten Unterbrechungsstellen, wobei die Unterbrechungsstellen außerhalb der Achsmitte einander gegenüberstehen, würde beiVerwendung nur einer Blasspule je nach derStromrichtung in der Blasspule der eine Lichtbogen nach der Achsmitte, der andere Lichtbogen dagegen nach außen getrieben werden.
