Description

The invention relates to an improvement and Perfection of the oven hob and the process of making it according to patent 655 558. The main patent relates to an oven hob, which consists of a mixture of crushed natural tufa with a binding agent and has a porous surface, and a method of manufacturing the same Hobs made of the crushed natural tuff, which is designed so that the The porosity of the natural tuff stone is not destroyed during processing, "vas always been the case until then, so that it was not possible to use the well-known good To use properties of the tuff stone for such oven hotplates in synthetic plates.

Darauf läßt man langsam abbinden. The invention now relates to a method in which the binding of the crushed natural tuff stone in synthetic panels while maintaining the porosity is achieved by adding fine-fiber asbestos to the tufa-cement mixture will. The new hotplate accordingly consists of a mixture of crushed Natural tufa, cement and fine-fiber asbestos, which are processed into panels in this way is that the ingredients are dry mixed, pressed under pressure to form plates and then moistened with water, followed by setting. The asbestos fibers serve to connect the crumbly tufa grains with the cement without that the existing pores are closed by moistening the mixture. the The amount of asbestos fiber depends on the grain size of the tuff and is in each case to be determined by experiments. Example 5 parts of natural tuff stone in a grain size of i to i o mm in diameter are mixed with i part of cement with the appropriate addition of Fine-fiber asbestos mixed dry and pressed into sheets under pressure. The dry The pressed slab is then moistened, with the cement removing the tufa grains binds without closing the pores. Then let it set slowly.
