Es ist nun bereits zur Behebung dieser für den Betrieb des Drehstromnetzes unangenehmen Nachteile im genannten Patent vorgeschlagen worden, parallel zu den Klemmen des Mehrphasennetzes einen umlaufenden Energiespeicher (Blindleistungsmaschine mit eigener oder zusätzlicher Schwungmasse) zu schalten. Soll das Drehstromnetz nur unwesentlich durch die Energiepulsationen beeinflußt werden, so ergibt sich die Forderung, daß die Reaktanz des Energiespeichers klein gegen die Reaktanz des Drehstromnetzes sein muß.
