Process for the production of mixed fertilizers The main patent relates to
a process for the separate extraction of ammonium phosphate and potassium phosphate
from solutions containing potassium phosphate and phosphoric acid or ammonium phosphate,
by introducing ammonia into this with cooling in such an amount that from
the solution only precipitates so much phosphoric acid as triammonium phosphate that the
Ratio of K: P 04 in the one above the precipitated triammonium phosphate
Solution - z or greater than z: z remains, whereupon you get the precipitated triphosphate
separates from the solution and the filtrate is evaporated to obtain the potassium phosphate.
But it turned out that it is used for the production of mixed fertilizers
`is of great advantage if the filtrate from the triphosphate separation according to
present further development of the process of the main patent with nitric acid
is added in such an amount that a mixture of monophosphate with nitrate is obtained
and the solutions obtained are converted into solid form by evaporation and drying
will. The evaporation can also take place completely or partially before the addition of nitric acid
be made. This gives very useful K, N for plant nutrition
and P-containing fertilizer salt mixtures which, in varying proportions, contain the monophosphates
and nitrates of potassium and ammonium.
If larger amounts of ammonium nitrate are present, it is advisable to
in order to achieve a better shelf life, also certain alkali salts, in particular
Chlorides and sulphates to be added, which are formed with the ammonium nitrate
convert from non-hygroscopic salts, e.g. B. according to the equation KCl + NH, N03 = KNO3 + NH, Cl.
In particular, find potassium chlorine and potassium sulfate, but also crude potassium salts, such as.
B. sylvinite, or other makes, such as potassium magnesia, use.
I II III ° - IV
N 6,76 6,76 5,07 5,07
P I,00 I,00 I,00 I,00
K 2,51 3,52 1,88 1,88
In the case of these mixtures prepared according to the invention, the fertilizer components can be graded in any desired manner and can be adapted to the particular needs of the plant crops. Other fertilizers can also be added to balance the nutrient ratio. Such mixed fertilizers meet all requirements regarding insensitivity to weathering during storage. It is already known that di- or triphosphates of potassium or ammonium or mixtures of these can be converted into mixtures of monophosphate and nitrate by treatment with nitric acid and, if necessary, potassium salts can be added to them. In the process of the present invention, the mother liquors containing potassium and ammonium phosphate are further processed, which have a significantly different composition and also contain free ammonia. Now, however, the ratio of the usual fertilizer components for commercial mixed fertilizers is different from that obtained by digesting phosphates with the addition of potassium sulfate. - So is z. B. the molecular ratio of N: P: K for fertilizers on the domestic market as follows: I II III ° - IV
N 6.76 6.76 5 0 7 5.07
PI, 00 I, 00 I, 00 I, 00
K 2.51 3.52 1.88 1.88
The digestion solutions therefore contain too much phosphoric acid compared to the potassium contained in the solution.

an. Das Trockenprodukt enthält 7,6 °/o Ammoniakstickstoff, 8,7 % Nitratstickstoff,
15,6 °/o Kalium, 30,3 °/o P 04.However, in addition to triammonium phosphate, mother liquors which approximately contain the usual P 04: K ratio are obtained according to the process of the main patent. Because of their favorable K20: P205 ratio, these mother liquors are therefore also particularly suitable for processing on mixed fertilizers, while an adjustment to the desired nitrogen content can easily be carried out by the method of the present invention. In addition, the direct utilization of the mother liquors according to the present invention does not require the expulsion of the excess ammonia and the evaporation and crystallization of the mother liquor containing potassium phosphate. The process of the invention gives easily and conveniently spreadable and storable mixed fertilizers with an excellent N: P2 0.5 : K2 O ratio, . ' hes also needs
