Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Randschlusses an Kieferprothesen Es ist bekannt, Kiefer-Zahnprothesen mit einem Randschluß zu versehen, der aus einer aufvulkanisierten, schnur- oder bandförmigen; weichbleibenden Gurnrnimasse gebildet wird. So z. B. wird an die Innenseite der Wand der Saugkammer eine Nut eingearbeitet, in, welche die den Randschluß bildende Gumminiasee unmittelbar oder unter Zwischenlage einer Bleischablone gestopft wird; eine andere Art eines Randabschlusses besteht darin, daß in eine Nut des fertigen Abdruckes eine Vollleiste eingesetzt wird:, die den Zweck hat, in der Vulkamsierungsform eine Nut erstehen zu lassen, in welche die weichbleibende Gummimasse eingesetzt wird. Es ist daher klar, daß die bisherige Art des Zusammenbringens oder Prothese mit der den Randschluß bildenden weichbleibenden Gummimasse entweder ein umständliches Vorbearbeiten der Prothese oder eine besondere Ausarbeitung der Vulkanisierungsform erfordert. PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Randschlusses an Kiefer-Zahnprothesen durch Aufvullwnisieren srlmur- oder bandförmiger, weichbleibender Gummimasse auf die Prothese, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Innenseite eines Abdruckes (i) biegsame Hoh11eisten (2) mit Gummifüllung befestigt werden, worauf vom Abdruck ein Positiv gefertigt wird, dessen in den Leisten frei nach außen liegende Gummifüllung als Randabschluß für den Kiefer mit der Zahnprothese durch Vulkanisieren verbunden wird.
