Die Erfindung hat den Zweck, die Tonhöhe von Klarinetten, Flöten und ähnlichen Blasinstrumenten schnell und wirksam derart ändern zu können, dafs mit demselben Instrument eine andere Tonart gespielt werden kann. So kann z. B. eine Klarinette von B moll in A oder umgekehrt geändert werden, je nachdem die Tonart, in welcher das Musikstück geschrieben ist, dies erforderlich macht; auf diese Weise wird ein zweites Instrument entbehrlich gemacht.The purpose of the invention is to be able to change the pitch of clarinets, flutes and similar wind instruments quickly and effectively in such a way that a different key can be played with the same instrument. Das Gehäuse A des Instruments wird mit Futterrohren BB¹, zweckmäfsig aus Metall, versehen, deren Enden an einarider stofsen und die so angeordnet sind, dafs sie um ein begrenztes Stück ausgezogen werden können. Das Futterrohr B hat zwei Satz Löcher, um die· verschiedenen Töne der Tonarten zu erzeugen , für welche das Instrument geändert werden kann. Das äufsere. Gehäuse A des Instruments kann in der üblichen Weise hergestellt werden und erhält aufser den üblichen Klappen eine Anzahl Schrauben oder Stifte a, die durch das äufsere Gehäuse A hindurchgehen und in Schlitze b b^l der Futterrohre BB¹ treten. Diese Schlitze b b¹ haben eine bestimmte Länge und sind spiralförmig ausgebildet, so dafs die Enden der Schrauben a, welche in die spiralförmigen Schlitze b b¹ greifen, eine Drehung der Rohrstücke um ein bestimmtes Mafs zulassen, wodurch ein anderer Satz Löcher der Futterrohre unier die Ventilklappen bezw. Um eine unerwünschte Bewegung des Mundstückes u. s. w. während des Spieles, d. h. während der Benutzung des Instruments, zu verhindern, erhält der Schlitz b¹ in dem Rohr B¹ die aus Fig. 2 ersichtliche Gestalt.
