Abstract

The grid has a pattern of transverse drainage slots (3) and is shaped into a zig-zag profile to form raised ridges to hold the leaves to prevent blocking the slots. In the raised position the leaves are easily blown from the grid by the wind. The slots are positioned through the raised sections of the grid, forming lower ducts (6) for the water. One edge of the grid has grip profiles (7,9) which clip the grip over the outer edge of the gutter. The grid can be made of metal or plastic and requires no separate fasteners to fit in place.
