Description
The theory of symmetrical components shows how any unsymmetrical Three-phase current can be broken down into two symmetrical three-phase systems running in opposite directions and into a single-phase system. The direct or co-rotating system rotates in the same sense as the three-phase current to be broken down; the inverse or counter-rotating system rotates in the opposite direction. The single-phase component arises in a network with asymmetrical single-phase loading, d. h, ^ especially for earth faults. To capture A number of circuits are known to earth faults.
In Fig. I beiliegender Zeichnung sind vier parallele Leitungen I bis IV dargestellt, welche z. The opposing system occurs with all asymmetrical two-phase loads, ie especially with short circuits between two phases. The opposite system has therefore already been used to detect short circuits, especially with the help of watt-metric relays. In Fig. I of the accompanying drawings, four parallel lines I to IV are shown which, for. B. connect the busbars 1 of a control center with the busbars 2 of a substation. If a short circuit occurs in K on line IV, an inversely rotating current component is produced which flows in accordance with the arrows shown. It is immediately noticeable that in the relay row 4 only the relay on line IV is traversed by a current component directed against the busbars, while the current is directed away from the busbars in the relays of the healthy lines I to III. This fact has now been used to develop a protection system that only compares the direction of the current components in the various parallel lines (see Revue Generale de l'Electricite of July 7, 1928, p. 29 and ff.). If the currents in all lines are rectified, no tripping occurs. If the currents are directed unevenly, those lines are switched off in which the current flows towards the busbars. To realize the idea, wattmetric relays are used that are equipped with a changeover contact. The circuit of the auxiliary circuit is made in such a way that the direction of the current is derived from the position of the changeover contact. The fault in point K. of FIG. 1 is switched off, as indicated in FIG. 2, by triggering the switch 5 through the relay row 4, since this line is the only one from the group with current direction towards the busbars. The error in K is still in the network of the central
trale ι. The direction of the opposite Current components in the parallel lines I to IV now correspond to FIG. 2. In FIG Relay row 3 is only the relay of the line IV the current direction against the busbars determine that the other lines are de-energized in the case of one-sided mains supply. So it becomes the switch of line IV Trip in front of the busbars 1, with which the fault is finally completely separated from the network is. The disadvantage of this protective circuit is, as can be seen above, that every fault is only switched off selectively in two stages.
The present invention provides a circuit by means of which the faulty If an opposing current component occurs simultaneously at both ends is switched off immediately. According to the invention, the opposing components are used of the current of the parallel lines in a polygon circuit in size and direction compared with each other, with the wattmetric relays themselves also in a polygon or can be interconnected in a star. As a differential circuit are for example the polygon circuits known for the usual comparison of the line currents proposed according to Fig. 3 and Fig. 4.
According to FIG. 3, which shows the current distribution at the ends of the four lines at the control center 1 in the event of a fault in FIG. 1, two polygons are provided. The devices 11 to 14 are known filters, consisting of current transformers with specific impedances, which filter out the opposing components of the currents in the lines I to IV. These filters 11 to 14 are combined to form an outer polygon P 1 , while the relays 15 to 18 form an inner polygon P 2 . The two polygons are connected to one another between the filter devices 11 to 14 and the relays 15 to 18. This circuit now responds not only to the direction of the opposing current component, but also to differences in rectified opposing current components. The line hit leads a by Δ ; greater current than the current i of all other lines. The S, tromi flows over the outer polygon. Only the differential current Δ, · penetrates into the inner relay polygon, which branches as Δ / via the relay 18 belonging to the line IV and as A 1 ″ via the other relays 15, 16 and 17. The current component A 1 flowing through the relay 18 ' flows counter-clockwise and triggers the switch of line IV, which is connected to the busbars ι. If one examines the current distribution in the polygon at the busbars of station 2, one sees that as a result of the current direction reversed in IV compared to the other three Lines the local switch from IV is also switched off. The faulty line IV in this contactor is switched off immediately and simultaneously at both ends. The relays only have a single trip contact. In one direction of rotation of the movable system, they work against a stop, in the other direction they make contact and trigger the associated switches, in the case of working current through a short circuit, in the case of closed current through an interruption en of the circuit of the trip coil of the switch.
The relays 15 to 18 can take place in one Polygon, as in Fig. 3, can also be interconnected to form a star, as in Fig. 4, achieving the same result.
All relays are calibrated in nature and energized by the same voltage, i. H. of the opposing component of the voltage, which is screened out in an arrangement known per se will. To simplify the schemes, the voltage coils are in the figures the relay and its supply have been omitted.
