B. den, daß die gleichzeitige Zündung der in den parallel geschalteten Kondensatorgruppen vorhandenen Funkenstrecken nicht gesichert ist, da einerseits die Erzeugerspannung infolge möglicher ungleicher Widerstände der Kondensatoren sich kaum gleichmäßig auf dieThe invention relates to a device for generating high test voltages, in the case of two groups of capacitors in parallel via high-value resistors charged and connected in series by means of spark gaps so that the test voltage at the poles of the test object. the generator voltage is multiplied beyond. Devices of this type enable the testing of objects set up in isolation, whereby the System only needs to be insulated for half the total voltage. Well-known institutions of this type have many disadvantages, e.g. B. the fact that the simultaneous ignition of the The spark gaps in the capacitor groups connected in parallel are not secured, because on the one hand the generator voltage due to possible unequal resistances of the capacitors hardly evenly affect the
Infolge der festen Verbindung der beiden ersten Kondensatoren der beiden Gruppen mit Erde hat diese Schaltung schließlich noch den Nachteil,; daß bei Ansprechen der Funkenstrecke steile Spannungswellen in die Erdleitung der Anlage eintreten/wodurch Maschinen und Apparate usw. gefährdet werden.ao distributed to both groups or, on the other hand, if a rectifier system is used as a generating group, in which both half-cycles of the alternating current are used, as a result alternating charging of the two halves is impossible. It is also possible that as a result of small errors in the setting of the spark gaps or as a result of contamination the same ones ignite the spark gaps, one group later than the other, As a result, the desired voltage does not appear on the test object. A Another disadvantage of the known device is that the test object before being switched on of the voltage surge receives the full generator voltage for a long time. There is also the disadvantage that the charging resistors for the full test voltage is made more difficult due to the parallel connections of the resistors. As a result of the fixed This circuit has the connection of the first two capacitors of the two groups to earth finally the disadvantage; that at If the spark gap responds, steep voltage waves can enter / cause the system's earth line Machines and apparatus etc. are endangered.
The invention now relates to a device for generating high test voltages, in the case of two groups of capacitors in parallel via high-value resistors charged and connected in series by means of spark gaps so that 'the Test voltage at the "electrodes" of the test object beyond the generator voltage is multiplied, in which the defects mentioned are eliminated by the fact that the ignition of all spark gaps of the two capacitor groups by one at the generator voltage lying spark gap is initiated at the same time that also the first links of the capacitor groups connected in parallel via a resistor grounded in its center are connected, and that the test object to that occupancy of the last link each capacitor group is connected before the ignition spark gap responds has approximated earth potential.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing. At the pole terminals A, B of the current source supplying the generator voltage E , the capacitors C 1 to C 6 are connected in two groups with the interposition of high-value resistors b and spark gaps c , which are charged in parallel. The first members C 1 , C 2 of the capacitor groups connected in parallel are connected via a resistor? connected, which has a grounded tap. The test object C lies parallel to the resistor d on the assignments of the last links a 5l a e of the capacitor groups, t5 which are connected to the ends of the resistor d in the idle state with the interposition of the high-ohmic resistors b, i.e. the same potential as this, i.e. approximately earth potential, to have. The common spark gap / lies between the ao pole terminals A, B.
In the resting state, ie before generation of the surge voltage prevailing at the terminals A, B, the potentials -f E and - E, d at the ends of the resistor and also to the poles of the test object, the potential zero. The capacitors c r to C 6 connected via the resistors b therefore have approximately the same potential relationships. : extension of the spark gaps c of the parallel connected capacitor groups introduced the ■ capacitors "the two groups are connected sequentially in series, wherein the the test object positioned expressed Stößspannung about obtains three times the value of the generator voltage e at the given in the figure number • loading groups.. -The resistance d ■ prevents the occurrence of steep voltage waves in the earth line of the system.
One connects; as shown in dashed lines in the figure, the assignments of the first elements of the capacitor group at the generator voltage crosswise • by means of resistors with the assignments- • · of! in the series following capacitors, which have approximately ground potential in the idle state, then in the idle state, ie before the generation of the voltage surge, half the generator voltage prevails at the poles of the capacitors as in the original circuit; on the other hand, the capacitors C 3 to C 6 receive the full generator voltage. If the flashover is now initiated at the spark gap /, then the spark gaps c respond at the same time, with all capacitors C 1 to C 6 being connected in series and thus the voltage ζ Ε appears on the test object.
The surge voltage naturally increases in both cases with the number of groups associated capacitors.
