Abstract

Motorised bogie for electric locomotives, in particular high-speed locomotives, in which preferably two wheel sets each with an associated driving motor 21 and gearing 28 are mounted in a bogie frame 1. The driving motor 21 or its housing or the gearing 28 or its housing is mounted at its one end located in the travel direction on the bogie frame 1 so as to pivot about an axis located transversely with respect to the travel direction and is connected at its opposite end to the bogie frame 1 via vertically extending springs, preferably leaf springs 25, 25'.
