Die Verwendung von Einphasen-Synchron- oder -Asynchronmotoren im Bahnbetrieb scheitert
normalerweise an dem kleinen Anlaufmoment dieser Maschinen. Bereits Arnold
3^The use of single-phase synchronous or asynchronous motors in railway operations usually fails due to the low starting torque of these machines. Arnold (ElektrotechnischeZeitschriftigos, page 568) and Sahulka (Elektrotechnische Zeitschrift 1907, page 852) have therefore proposed equipping the single-phase motor with a rotating stand and allowing it to run empty when the vehicle is at a standstill, while the rotor connected to the driving axles is caused by the movement resistance of the vehicle is being held. The vehicle is set in motion by braking the stand. Arnold decelerates the stand using an air compressor, while Sahulka uses a brake dynamo. Arnold uses the compressed air to drive the compressed air motor and Sahulka uses the electrical braking power in an electric motor to drive the vehicle. The transfer of braking energy to the vehicle drive by compressed air is naturally associated with greater losses than the transfer by electricity. The greater economic efficiency of the Sahulka system is at the cost of the disadvantage that the braking energy can only be used up to about 70% of the maximum speed of the single-phase motor, since the rotor of the brake dynamo, due to its fixed coupling with the stator of the single-phase induction motor, can be used as the driving speed increases Vehicle rotates slower and slower, so that the required braking power can not be achieved. 3 ^
Planetengetriebe c in Umdrehung versetzt.
This disadvantage is avoided by the invention shown schematically in the drawing. The armature of the brake dynamo b is no longer directly driven alone by the rotating stator of the single-phase motor A, but he will z. B. indirectly by a simultaneously positively influenced by the rotor and stator of the single-phase motor planetary gear c in rotation. The gear ratios of the planetary gear mean that the armature of the brake dynamo still rotates quickly while the stator of the single-phase motor is already at a standstill, i.e. the stator of the induction motor can be decelerated to a standstill by electrical braking and even more, it can be reversed by increasing the braking power Accelerate senses, ie the speed of the vehicle is greater than the synchronous speed of the single-phase motor. The power generated in the brake dynamo is usefully used in the motor d .
Das System Sahulka hat noch einen Nachteil. Wechsel der Fahrtrichtung verlangt Umkehr
der Drehrichtung des Einphasenmotors,The Sahulka system has one more disadvantage. Change of direction of travel requires reversal
the direction of rotation of the single-phase motor,
erfolgen kann.so time-consuming braking, switching and acceleration of the motor before the [change of direction
can be done.
Bei Fahrt inThis is avoided by using a coupling e , which is arranged between the rotor of the single-phase motor and its connection to the driving axles of the vehicle. She is here z. B. shown as an electromagnetic multi-plate clutch. When driving in
Drehrichtung des Einphasenmotors nicht umgekehrt werden muß.ίο the direction of the driver's cab concerned
the coupling establishes a connection between the rotor and the drive axles, so that
the torque of the rotor evenly on the driving axles and on the electric ones
Generator distributed, whereas when driving in the opposite direction of the concerned
Driver's cab the clutch holds the rotor of the single-phase motor. The torque
of the AC motor rotor then no longer acts on the drive axles and the drive system
works as a Ward-Leonard set. This novel use of a coupling ensures that the maneuvering movement
The direction of rotation of the single-phase motor does not have to be reversed.
