Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 17. Juli 1930 abPatented in the German Empire on July 17, 1930
The invention relates to multi-cylinder vertical drawing presses with crosshead connecting the pistons and arranged below, The mandrel carrying the workpiece 'for pulling larger and longer high-pressure vessels with closed bottom.
The invention aims to train these presses so that one workpieces from a Length that almost the entire
to ten Höhe der Presse gleichkommt. With big ones vertical drawing presses, the gain in space is of decisive importance in terms of height, because the enlargement of the drawing press may result in an increase in the whole building, the elevation of the crane bridges etc. makes necessary. According to the invention, this advantage is provided by the association two known features achieved, namely that firstly the crosshead
Diese Anordnung empfiehlt sich" bei Ziehpressen zum Ziehen größerer Werkstücke nicht, weil das Werkstück nicht-bequem eingesetzt und entfernt werden kann. ao is provided with a bore that is larger than the draw ring bore, so that it can be passed over the workpiece, and that, secondly, the workpiece supporting mandrel is arranged laterally extendable. It should be noted that both perpendicular Drawing presses are known in which the crosshead is provided with a bore, so that it can be guided over the workpiece, as well as horizontal drawing presses, in which the mandrel is arranged so that it can be extended laterally. Due to the horizontal arrangement, however, the known ones are suitable Drawing presses are not used for drawing larger and longer high-pressure vessels with closed Floor, because when pulling horizontally there is a risk that the wall thickness will be longitudinally the circumference becomes uneven. In the first-mentioned known vertical drawing press the drawing ring is arranged at the bottom and the mandrel at the top. This arrangement is recommended " not in the case of drawing presses for drawing larger workpieces, because the workpiece cannot be easily inserted and removed.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. represents, namely Figs. 1 to 3 show a drawing press in three when pulling a workpiece successive working positions, while Fig. 4 corresponds to Fig. 1 Illustrated top view.
Die Kolbenstan- gen der in den Zylindern//, geführten KoI-The work table of the press is designated with A , in which the lower punch i? is guided, which is displaceable in a manner not shown by hydraulic drive. The mandrel C, onto which the workpiece D is slipped, sits on the punch .8 and can be extended laterally. Above the work table A , two press cylinders // are provided, which are connected by two transverse webs A 1 lying one behind the other in the drawing; these 60, as shown in Fig. 4, are bent outwards in the middle, so that there is ample space between them. The piston rods of the piston rods guided in the cylinders //
In this an insert ring / 1 'is attached, which serves as an abutment for the drawing ring E , which is placed on the workpiece before the start of drawing (Fig ι).
The workpiece D is placed on it with the mandrel C extended, and then the mandrel is retracted and the drawing ring E is placed (Fig. I). The crosshead is then pushed down by the length of the piston travel (see Fig. 2). When the crosshead G is fixed, the lower punch i? pushed up and thereby finished drawing the workpiece. Fig. 3 shows the parts in question in the position in which the drawing process has essentially ended, ie just before the mandrel C assumes its upper limit position, in which the drawing ring E falls off the workpiece. The removal of the workpiece from the mandrel is expediently carried out in such a way that it is lifted up with the crosshead in a known manner by means of a stripper, with the mandrel C being pulled downwards by the punch B at the same time. After the mandrel has been extended to the side, the workpiece is then lowered onto the work table by means of a hoist.
The arrangement can also be made in such a way that the pulling ring can be adjusted with respect to the crosshead, so that after completing the first step (Fig. 2) the crosshead can be withdrawn and intermediate pieces can be inserted between it and the pulling ring E , after which the crosshead can move back printed at the bottom and the pull ring is moved further down. In this way one can get by with a 'smaller pressing stroke of the cylinders //, and under certain circumstances dispense with the displaceability of the mandrelC. If several spacers are used, the stroke can be shortened even further. The known displaceability of the mandrel also has the advantage that the stroke of the cylinder can be shortened, since after the crosshead has assumed its lower limit position, the mandrel can be pushed up, as described, and thus the workpiece can be finished. This assumes that the dome is provided with a correspondingly powerful device for pushing it up. It should be noted, however, that the mandrel need not be displaceable with the force necessary for pulling; rather, it is sufficient if this force is so great that it can push the mandrel with the workpiece, the drawing ring, the crosshead and its piston upwards. The pulling then only takes place by the force of the cylinder # with the mandrel C locked, while the crosshead is moving downwards again. If in a known manner between the cylinder. the space is available and the dome with the workpiece can be pushed forward into it, workpieces can be pulled which, in the finished state, are even somewhat longer than the clear height of the press. If the space between the cylinders is accessible from above, the workpiece, when it is stripped from the mandrel as described, can be conveniently held by means of a hoist and then lowered onto the work table. Since the pull ring rests loosely against the crosshead in a manner known per se, as soon as the first ring has been pulled over the workpiece, the mandrel and crosshead can be returned to the positions shown in Fig. 1 and a second, narrower ring can immediately be placed on top This' also pull over the workpiece, etc. This enables faster work, so that you can make a plurality of pulls with one heat. In the known drawing press, in which the drawing ring rests loosely in a larger bore in the drawing table, the loose arrangement of the drawing ring is used to ensure that after the drawing punch has been pulled up and out of the workpiece again, the workpiece with the one on top of it seated drawing ring with joint use of the hole in the work table, so that ■ it goes freely from the drawing punch and can be removed laterally, although the largest free space between the lower edge, punch and the upper edge of the drawing ring in its working position is smaller than the length of the finished workpiece.
