Method and device for the production of corrugated cardboard with oblique
Wavy lines running to the trimmed edges The invention extends to a
Method and a machine for the production of corrugated cardboard with angled to the trimmed edges
running wavy lines, so-called diagonal corrugated cardboard. Opposite to those suggested earlier
Method and: means, e.g. B. revolving corrugated rollers with on the roller blades
axially displaceable individual corrugated bars, the production takes place according to the invention

stepwise formation of corrugations or waves allows the choice of any corrugation cross-sections,
whose dimensions no longer need to be dependent on one another (e.g. the ratio
the cross-section distances to the wave height), d. H. the height of the waves in corrugated cardboard

gleichzeitig um Wellenabstandlänge v in Richtung A fördern.
In gleicher wechselnder Folge verläuft
in Abb. 9 schwarz gezeichneten Stellen 13
Schrägwelle nachgeprägt (in Abb. io punktiert dargestellt).
An Stelle
28, Kreismesser 29, oszillierende oder rotierende Querschneider 30.The machine production takes place as described below: A smooth paper web i is fed from a supply roll 2, the winding, zelstange of which at an angle a slightly less than c) o °. is arranged to the fundamentally defined work or material passage direction A (the size of the angle a depends on the inclination of the wavy lines to the trimmed edges and the height of the corrugation; with normal corrugation, i.e. those of about 6 mm height and about 9.5 mm corrugation distance from each other , the angle is about 83 ° to 84 °), continuously guided between profiling tools., 5, 6 and 7 and formed by these intermittently into a wave path. Shaping takes place in such a way that the tool sets shape the waves by moving up and down and at the same time convey the material by the wave spacing length v in direction A with each stamping stroke. The tool sets consist of two batteries, single rods 4, 5 and 6, 7, which are designed as a male mold (upper tool) and a female mold (lower tool), and each rod is provided with several serrated teeth. Of the male molds, series 4, on the one hand, and group 6, on the other hand, are connected to one another by heating elements 8; the same connection exists between the corresponding die bars 5 and 7. By means of crank disks g and tie rods io, horizontal movements A and B are imposed on the bar batteries for conveying the corrugated track part, while the vertical movements C and D by corrugation height li or greater for the embossing process by toggle levers ii- and 12 can be accomplished. The movements are carried out alternately by the rod series, ie when the rod groups 4 and 5 run in the direction A, the groups 6 and 7 move in the opposite direction B by wavelength v. The play of the vertical movements C and D runs in the same alternating sequence. During the first stamping stroke of the rod groups 4 and 5, the points 13 shown in black in Fig. 9 are stamped by the first corrugated teeth 14, as a result of which the free points 15 are more mechanically influenced Means are inevitably co-formed and thereby a closed oblique wave is created. The rod groups 4 and 5, which are in engagement with one another, now convey the material by corrugation length v in direction A; At the end of this conveying movement, the second rod groups 6 and 7 come into action and begin before the groups 4 and 5 have released the material to form the second inclined corrugation, contrary to the first forming process, the points 15 through their first corrugated tooth 16, during here the intermediate points 13 are forcibly formed at the same time. In this second corrugation formation, as a result of the arrangement of several teeth 17, the points 15 of the first inclined wave that were inevitably co-formed in the previous embossing process without the action of mechanical means are embossed (shown dotted in Fig. 10). Again, the web is conveyed in wavelength v in direction A , and before groups 6 and 7 diverge, the embossing process begins with stick batteries 4 and 5 that have meanwhile returned in direction B, with the already mechanically formed points 13 in sequence through teeth i9 of the first corrugation again, the inevitably co-formed points 13 are subsequently shaped and the points 13 of the new corrugation are mechanically shaped. By repeatedly re-stamping the inclined corrugation it is achieved that the wave path is extremely stable, steadfast and resistant. The corrugated track emerging from the corrugating tools is provided with a binding agent on one side by an adhesive unit 2o and pasted with a smooth cover sheet 2i. The corrugated sheet is pressed against the smooth cover sheet by means of pressure bars 22, which are provided on their pressing surface with inclined corrugations according to the corrugation of the corrugated sheet and which sit in the corrugated bars of the corrugated sheet during the pressing process. By eccentrics, cam disks or the like. The press beams 22 are alternately set in action and given them a movement in direction A during pressing, so that the continuous production of the skewed corrugated cardboard is not disturbed and the pressing of the smooth web is ensured for some time . After the gluing is finished, the press beams 22 go back in direction B. Instead of press halves, corrugated rollers, the corrugation of which follows the course of the inclined corrugated cardboard z. B. adjust by special guides, and find a smooth counter roller as a pressing means application. The diagonal corrugated cardboard that is glued on one side and obtained in this way can also be provided with a second cover sheet 23. In a known manner, the free shaft heads are then provided with adhesive by means of an adhesive unit 24. The smooth web 23 can also be completely or partially glued, the smooth web 23 brought into contact with the corrugated web by guide rollers 25 and the freshly produced, double-sided glued diagonal corrugated cardboard between heating tables 26 and the surrounding felt, canvas, wire tape. of the 27 rotating weight rollers or the like. Conveying and pressing means for the purpose of gluing the web 23 and drying the entire web of material. Finally, the further processing, such as creasing, longitudinal cutting and cross cutting, takes place in a known manner by creasing devices 28, circular knives 29, oscillating or rotating cross cutters 30.
