Die Anordnung gewährt bei starrem Vorsprung 15 den Vorteil, daß man den Vorsprung 15 gleichzeitig als Unverwechselbarkeitsorgan ausbilden kann. Ein Stecker mit derartigen Vorsprüngen kann nur in den dafür bestimmten Dosen, nicht aber in Dosen ohne Erdung eingeführt werden.
