Die SpindelI( ist im Gestell des Schleifwagens drehbar, aber unverschiebbar gelagert und trägt ein Handrad kg. Die Abmessungen der Kurbelvier,ecke B, E, F, I{ und die Steigungen der Gewinde k1 und k2 sind so gewählt, daß bei einer Drehung der Spindel I( die Führungen B und damit die Schleifkörper A so geschwenkt werden, daß sie eine Drehung um einen mindestens in der Nähe der Schienenoberkante liegenden Punkt 15 ausführen. Hierdurch wird es möglich, auch die abgerundeten inneren Kanten der Schienen zu bearbeiten. Die Muttern G bzw.
