Description

Method for the production of cork stones It is known, baking cork or Manufacture cork stone by pressing raw cork chips into molds and opening them heated to about 300 ° C. The heat penetrates through the walls of the molding box through into the cork and liquefies the resins that stick together each Serving cork particles. It is also known to speed up the baking process pass hot gases through the mold. The advantage of this procedure is in that it takes less time to bake. Because of the good insulating effect namely, the cork can badly heat the inside of the molded piece penetrate, so that it takes a relatively long time for the to completely warm up and the amount of heat required to drive off the distillates has penetrated. As a result Passing a hot gas stream through the cork mass can reduce the production time decrease very substantially. The gases carry the heat into the interior of the fittings and thus enable rapid heating. It is very advantageous now, that Gas flow] it is pushed or sucked through the small cork, adhesive to add. This significantly increases the quality of the cork stone. the Adhesives are conveniently atomized by a carburetor so that they are in finely distribute the gas flow. The ones that were taken into the cork stone in this way Binders increase the compressive strength of the cork stone. In addition, the air and moisture permeability decreased. Both properties are for use of the cork stone is decisive. In addition to pitch, bitumen, and the like, adhesives are used. substances like dextrins are also in question.
