nachgiebige Verbindung eingeschaltet, welche insbesondere Stöße aufnehmen soll.
Iron-on machine The invention relates to an iron-on machine,
in which a pressing lever moved by the foot lever and the extension lever acts on the workpiece
is pressed. In these machines, there is one between the stretching lever and the pressing lever
compliant connection switched on, which is intended to absorb shocks in particular.
Up until then, a spring was used in this flexible connection, but it did so as a result
their arrangement had to be carried out so strongly that they the Irraft of the extension lever
could be transferred to the press lever.
According to the invention is through the storage of a connecting joint piece
between. Stretch lever and rocker arm created a type in which a
weaker spring can be used to absorb the impact, while the spring force
excessive forces by the rocker arm striking the press lever directly
be transmitted.
The distinguishing feature of the invention is that the one on the one
End of the press lever carrying the press jaw on the other end: with a rocker arm
is equipped, which at its free end by means of a spring with the press lever
and at its end mounted in the press belly by means of a joint piece arranged in it
is in communication with the stretching lever. Here is the pin of the joint piece
placed immediately next to the joint of the 'rocker arm, while the free end
of the rocker arm rests in a cutout of the press lever against which it thus
collides with its up and down movement.
The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention
illustrated, namely Fig. i shows the new device on a known ironing machine,
Fig.2 a section along the line 2-2 of Fig. I.
3 i verbunden, clas am Streckhebel 30 sitzt. Da die Zapfen
32
In the frame i of the machine, the press lever .4 is mounted on the joint 5, on the one hand the press jaw 3 and on the other hand in its fork-shaped end ii, which is supported by a counterweight; is surrounded, a small rocker arm 33 carries. This is mounted on the one hand with the pin 34 in the fork arms ii and on the other hand is connected to a bolt 36 which carries an adjusting nut 40 for a spring 39 which rests against the forked end ii of the press lever 4. The rocking lever 33 is also connected by means of the pin 32 to a joint piece 3 i, which is seated on the extension lever 30 . Since the pins 32 and 34 sit close to one another, the rocker arm 33 is divided by the joint piece 31 into two lever arms of unequal length. This has the consequence that a weaker spring 39 can be used on the longer lever arm.
The upward and downward movement of the free end of the rocker arm 33, which is under the influence of the spring 39, is limited upward and downward by the cutout which is made in the press lever 4 or its counterweight 7 for the arrangement of the rocker arm 33. If a pressure is exerted on the spring 39 which exceeds its spring force, the lever 33 rests directly against the pressure lever 4, so that the force is now transmitted from the extension lever directly to the pressure lever. Due to the eccentric mounting of the joint piece 3 i in the lever 33 it is achieved that when the press hooks are closed, only a very short movement of the stretching lever 30 is necessary in order to produce a strong pressing pressure. If the two pins 32 and 34 were further apart, this movement of the extension lever would have to be correspondingly greater.
