Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Befestigen von Anschlußstutzen an Blechbehältern. Es ist bereits bekannt, solche Stutzen mit einer verengten Bohrung zu versehen und diese nach Einstecken des Stutzens in ein Loch'des Behälters mit einem passenden konischen Dorn aufzutreiben, so daß der Stutzen durch Klemmung festsitzt. Dieses Verfahren hat den Nachteil, daß der Dorn schlagartig vorgetrieben ίο werden muß, also sehr dünnwandige Behälter verbeult werden würden. Zur Behebung dieses Nachteils wird der Dorn gemäß der Erfindung allmählich durch Einschrauben in den Stutzen vorgetrieben. In das Blech 10 wird ein Loch 1 vom Durchmesser des Zapfens 2 gebohrt. Das Loch. 1 erhält zweckmäßig einige Nuten 3. In das Loch ι wird der Zapfen 2 gesteckt, so daß der Flansch 4 auf dem Blech aufliegt. Nun steckt man in das Loch 5 des Stutzens 6 den mit einer konischen Spitze versehenen Dorn 7. Der Dorn 7 ist an einer Mutter 8 (Abb. 1, 2) befestigt. Dreht man die Mutter 8 nach unten, so druckt die konische Spitze des Domes 7 die verengte Bohrung 5 auseinander, so daß der Zapfen 2 die Form gemäß Abb. 2 annimmt und das Blech festklemmt. Da auch die Nuten 3 vom Zapfen 2 angefüllt werden, ist der Stutzen 6 auch gegen Drehung gesichert. Nach dieser Operation wird die Mutter 8 mit dem Dorn 7 wieder entfernt.
