Abstract

The electrical connector has first and second contact arrangements (34) formed by end sections of a one-piece chain contact extending between first and second contacting regions (27,28) and a third contact region (29) lies between the first and second contact regions in the chain direction (17). A third contact arrangement (35) is formed by chain contact surfaces diverging from the plane (26) of the chain in the normal direction.
