A shower unit comprises a shower head (6) and a hose (8) which supplies it with water, and a pump (4). An additional agent is supplied to a nozzle located in the shower head, and an additional hose connects the pump to the nozzle. The pump has a dosing valve for at least the additional agent. The additional agent hose consists of polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
