Abstract

The shelving unit has uprights (10) joined by struts (20,50) extending in the lengthwise or transverse direction of the unit and positioned on a level with the shelves. The struts and uprights are joined by means of cavities (21) in the struts and connectors in the form of catches (13) on the vertical uprights. The catches extend to the inside. The uprights are angled with two equally long arms (11,12). The C-sectioned struts have at least three walls (22-24) and at least one shorter part-profiled wall (25,26) aged at a right angle inwards.
