Die Erfindimg hat ein Leimring-Doppelband für Obstbäume u. dgl. zum Gegenstande, welches aus einseitig belehnten, in Rollenform gebrachten Bändern besteht und ohne Be-S schmutzen der Hände um den Baum herumgelegt und daran befestigt werden kann, worauf der obenliegende Streifen des Doppelbandes von dem darunterliegenden, gleichfalls ohne Gefahr, die Finger oder Kleider mit Leim zu beschmutzen, abgezogen und an einem anderen Baum festgebunden werden kann. Ein derartig sauberes Arbeiten war mit den bisher bekannten, einseitig beleimten und in RoEenform gebrachten Leimringen nicht möglich, welchen gegenüber das Wesen der vorliegenden Erfindung darin besteht, daß die Bänder des Leimring-Doppelbandes je einen unbeleimten Längsrandstreifen aufweisen und zu zweien mit den beleimten Flächen aufeinandergelegt sind. Wie bereits erwähnt, besteht der Erfindungsgegenstand aus zwei Bandern, welche nur einseitig derart beleimt sind, daß neben den beleimten Flächen b auf einer Seite ein leimfreier Randstreifen α frei bleibt. Die Bänder sind mit den beleimten Flächen deckend aufeinandergelegt, wobei, wie Abb. 2 zeigt, zweckmäßig je ein beidseitig unbeleimter Randstreifen« hervorragt. Dieses Leimring-Doppelband wird zu einer Rolle zusammengelegt und in eine in bekannter Weise einen Entnahmeschlitz aufweisende Papphülle untergebracht. Dadurch, daß keine Leimfläche frei liegt, ist das Abrollen aus der Papphülle leicht und ohne Beschmutzung der Hände möglich. Beim Gebrauch wird der aus der Papphülle herausgezogene Doppelstreifen um den Baum herumgelegt und mittels eines um den Randstreifen des dem Baumstamm zunächst liegenden Papierstreifens geschlungenen Bindfadens am Stamme befestigt. Hierauf wird der äußere Streifen mit den Fingern an seinen unbeleimten Randstreifen erfaßt und abgezogen und wie vorhergehend am nächsten Stamme angebracht. So hat man auf diese Weise zwei Leimringe aus einem Doppelstreifen gewonnen, die gemeinsam vor Gebrauch aufbewahrt waren und deren Handhabung jedes Beschmutzen der Hände ausschließt.
