Das Zulaufrohr c befindet sich an dem einen Ende des Troges, d, an dem anderen Ende befindet sich das Ablaufrohr h, welches für den nächsten Trog d' das Zulaufrohr bildet. Dessen Ablaufrohr h' befindet sich wiederum am entgegengesetzten Ende, so daß das Wasser gemäß den in Abb. 2 gezeigten Pfeilen immer die Tröge ihrer ganzen Länge nach .durchlaufen muß. Die Ausbildung der übrigen Stufen geschieht, wie die Abbildungen zeigen, in gleicher Weise. Die Deckel e, e' usw. tragen an ihrer linken Seite nach oben verdeckte, nach der Seite offene Kanäle oder Öffnungen i, durch welche der in den Trögen erzeugte Dampf nach oben austreten. und die Roststäbe f, f' usw. kühlen kann. Die Roststäbe f schleifen mit ihrem unteren Ende auf den Deckeln e der Tröge, werden also auch durch Berührung mit diesen gekühlten Dekkeln ihrerseits gekühlt.
