Die vier Einschnitte können aber in dem Stutzen b auch so angebracht werden, daß die entstehenden Öffnungen eine beliebige andere Form, z. B. eine spitzwinkelige, aufweisen. Die beiden stehengebliebenen Lappen d werden nun in einem Gesenk in dem gewünschten Maße gebogen (Abb. 5). Nach dem Aufschweißen des Stutzens b, d. h. seiner beiden Lappen d, auf das Durchgangsstück a bleiben an der vorderen und hinteren Fläche des Stutzens noch zwei Öffnungen frei, in die Blechstücke c von der Wandstärke der Rohre eingeschweißt werden. Sämtliche Wandstärken, auch die der Lappen d, bleiben unverändert, denn es findet nirgends eine Streckung des Materials statt.
