Description
Nozzle valve for deflagration internal combustion turbines of the present invention refers to a nozzle valve for deflagration internal combustion turbines where the The nozzle valve is designed as a balanced piston valve with oil control. The invention The purpose of this is to cool such a valve, which is known to be directly called the Is exposed to combustion gases. The invention consists in that part of the Control oil is passed through the inside of the valve for cooling. As is well known, it happened the oil control of such valves by alternately pressurizing and Relieved control oil acts on a piston surface, with a constant back pressure is exerted on an opposed piston surface; depending on whether the pressure of the control oil or the counterpressure predominates, the valve moves. The Counterpressure exerted by a column of oil under constant pressure. It therefore, the cooling oil can either change with or with constant Control oil under pressure can be taken. The invention makes a simple one Cooling device created and the absorption of a greater amount of heat than before made possible by the cooling oil because it is under pressure.
In further implementation of the invention, the interior is expedient A cylinder piston-like valve designed an insert body introduced between its outer wall and the inner wall of the advantageously provided with a spiral groove Valve a jacket space through which cooling oil flows or spiral jacket channels leaves free through or through which the cooling oil, in particular in the vicinity of the Valve parts directly exposed to combustion gases, e.g. B. valve plate or Valve bottom, flows through in a thin layer. They are already oil-cooled valves became known for internal combustion engines. With these valves, however, the cooling oil space forms a liquid bag, so that the disadvantages of a great weight of the valve and a resulting increase in the inertia forces, as well as the stagnation of the coolant and the resulting poorer cooling of the valve outer wall, the formation of oil gases that get inside the circulation pump and there operating difficulties can cause, and finally the formation of an oil sump and thereby occurring Precipitation of carbon as well as blockages and obstruction of the coolant circulation develop. Characterized in that according to the invention in the interior of the valve body Insert body is introduced, arises between the outer wall of this body and the valve piston a space through which the cooling oil flows in a thin layer; by this thin layer eliminates the disadvantages of the known device.
The drawing represents two embodiments of the idea of the invention using the example of the longitudinal section through nozzle piston valves.
Irr- Fig. Z denotes a valve insert which is inserted into the water-cooled turbine housing a. The nozzle valve f, which closes the interior of the combustion chamber b from the nozzle channel c, is guided in this valve insert. The valve insert contains a stepped cylindrical recess into which the stepped piston body of the valve is inserted; the valve insert is closed off by a cover m at its upper end. At k, the static oil pressure (for example 7 atm. Overpressure) is connected, at L the oil control, which is alternately connected to an oil source with high oil pressure (for example also 7 atm. Overpressure) or to an oil drain opening (i.e. from 0 atm.) . The hole o serves to discharge leakage oil and is also connected to the oil drain. As long as the high oil pressure of 7 atm across the valve. prevails, the valve is closed and pressed onto its seat. As soon as the line l is relieved, however, the predominant oil pressure in the line k, which acts on the annular surface between the two piston surfaces f ' and f " , pushes the piston upwards. The interior P of the valve body f, f' is joined by a bore i the annulus between f ' and f ", thus also connected to the line k . A tube y projecting into this space p is connected to a bore r 'in the cover, and this bore is adjoined by an opening y ″ which can be adjusted by a throttle element. In this way, part of the oil under static pressure flows out continuously the line k through p, y and y 'via the throttle opening y "and causes the cooling of the valve.
Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment, which at the same time represents a peculiar control of the nozzle valve. Here again f, f 'represents the piston body, which forms the valve at its lower end; c is in turn the valve insert, which is connected through the opening k to the oil source, which is under static oil pressure (e.g. of 2 atm.), and is connected through the opening l to the oil control device, which alternates oil with a higher oil pressure (z. B. 7 atm.) and is alternately connected to the oil drain. In this case, the cover m contains a bore d which is in constant communication with an oil source with an even higher static oil pressure (about 30 atm.). A ring slide a is provided which initiates the control movements of the piston valve in such a way that they can be carried out with low oil consumption at a high stroke speed. In the position shown it is assumed that the line 1 contains no oil pressure. The oil pressure from line d, which presses the piston body onto its seat, therefore predominates. If an oil pressure of 7 atm. fed through the line 1, the ring slide a is first pushed up. It thereby closes the connection between the high pressure oil line d and the space under the cover and sets it to the low oil pressure of 2 atm, which is connected to the line k. in connection. The overpressure in the annular space between the piston surfaces f ' and f thereby lifts the piston body and opens the valve. As soon as the oil pressure in the line 1 is relieved, the slide is lowered by the predominant oil pressure of 2 atm. and thereby re-establishes the connection between the high pressure oil of 3o Atm. and the space under the lid, which then closes the valve.
This peculiar control of the piston valve through the intermediary of a Control slide and three different pressures, namely the low pressure of 2 atm., of the maximum pressure of 3o atm. and the pressure of the oil control, which is between 7 and o Atm. changes, enables quick opening that takes place with great pressure and closing the valve with a relatively low expenditure of control oil, since this only loads the annular surface of the piston body for the purpose of opening causes, in this case the control oil pressure despite the small effective area sufficient because the opening is supported by the combustion pressure.
It is now for the purpose of cooling the piston body f with a hollow cylindrical Insert body g provided between its outer wall and one wall of the Piston body has a narrow annular space, preferably in the form of a spiral channel p, can exist. This channel is on the one hand to the opening y, the channel y 'and the adjustable throttle opening y "connected, on the other hand with an inner tube s' connected, which empties into the canal. This way you can turn from the below resting pressure of about 2 atm. standing oil from the channel s an adjustable amount flow continuously through s' and the spiral channel and cool the valve piston.
It is easy to see that the mass of the with the Valve piston is pushed back and forth moving oil to a minimum and thereby the mass effects of the oil are rendered harmless.
Instead of the idle oil line s, the cooling oil can also be fed to line 1, in which the oil, which is under changing pressure, moves, can be removed.
