Verfahren zur Gewinnung von Aluminium durch Schmelzflußelektrolyse Bei der elektrolytischen Verarbeitung von calcinierter Tonerde auf metallisches Aluminium in den bekannten Schmelzflußbädern werden nicht nur an die chemischen, sondern auch an die physikalischen Eigenschaften des Ausgangsmaterials bestimmte Anforderungen gestellt. Die Tonerde soll vor allem nicht zu leicht sein, d. h. sie soll ein Litergewicht von nicht unter etwa x,o haben, sie soll wenig stauben und beim Eintragen in das Bad, ohne harte Krusten zu bilden, stets locker auf der Schmelze aufliegen und sich ohne besonderes Zutun allmählich auflösen. Dieses Verfahren besteht darin, daß man die bei der Calcinierung pseudomorph-kristallin anfallende Tonerde unter Wahrung der Pulverform starker Pressung aussetzt, indem man sie mit Hilfe von geeigneten Vorrichtungen, in denen die Ausübung von Druck mit einem Mahlvorgang verbunden ist, wie Quetschwalzen, Kollergänge, Pressen u. dgl., behandelt. So konnte z.
