Fuel valve for diesel engines with air injection The invention
refers to fuel valves for diesel engines with air injection, in which
the fuel is pushed back into the valve housing before the start of the injection process
the injection air is stored and when the valve is opened by the load on it
Injection air is pressed from the storage space of a peeling point. At acquaintances
Valves of this type, the peeling point is formed by the fuel needle
is surrounded by a sleeve which extends almost to the bottom of the fuel valve
extends down so that between it and the fuel valve base immediately above
the needle seat only a narrow slot gap remains. The fuel is at
these valves before the start of the atomization process outside of the sleeve in the
Valve, stored. The air blown in is inside the sleeve on the needle
led along; after the needle has been opened, the fuel that passes through
the mentioned slot gap after the fuel needle crosses from the one on this one
entrained air flowing past and atomized into the cylinder. These valves
have the disadvantage that the stored a certain time before opening the needle
Fuel can partially rise through the slit on the needle,
before it opens. When it is opened, this fuel that has passed over is then not atomized
ejected into the cylinder, which worsens fuel consumption and: a
Causes contamination of the machine. According to the invention, the peeling point is now
at which the fuel from its storage space after the injection air flow
passes, controlled so that, the meeting of fuel and air injection
at the peeling point only during. the blowing process is possible. This is z.
B. achieved in that the = peeling point is in the fuel needle seat and up
is kept closed by the needle at the beginning of the blowing process. To the
Increasing an exact fuel supply before the controlled peeling point is
also the fuel below the peeling point in the storage room. introduced.
A fuel valve has now been proposed for tar oil operation
been, in which also the fuel storage space opposite the air space
closed at the peeling point by the fuel needle up to the beginning of the needle opening
remains held. In this known embodiment, however, when the needle is opened
first the fuel outlet and then the air passage is released, for the purpose,
to allow some of the fuel to enter the cylinder before the air. In contrast
The invention aims at the meeting of the fuel and the injection air
immediately at the start of the injection process (i.e. when the valve is lifted).

The way the valve works is as follows: The fuel arrives
through the bore a2 in. the annular space c3 and rises up in the annular space a4. Of the
The oil level indicated in the drawing corresponds approximately to the amount of fuel for full load.
When the needle is opened, the blowing air flows through the annular channel cl on the needle
past. At the same time it pushes the fuel out of the annular space a4 through the bores
c4 into the air flowing through the needle seat, from which the fuel is atomized
and is guided through the bore c5 in the cylinder. Here the. fuel
pushed out of the annular space a4 up to the dashed line. The described
The device has several advantages. Because the fuel is below the deepest
Oil level, which is indicated by the dashed line, is supplied,
on the one hand, the passage of injection air into the fuel line a2 is excluded,
on the other hand, it is guaranteed with certainty that there is always fuel in front of the controlled one
Bores c4 are available when the blowing process takes place. So it is with the subject matter of the invention
ruled out that leading air without fuel gets into the cylinder
and there the temperature of the combustion air is lowered.
