daß er nur mit Zeitaufwand in Bereitschaft gestellt werden kann, also sich höchstens
für den Ansitz eignet. Andere, schneller und sofort bereite Zielstützen, wie diejenigen,
welche am Körper des Schützen Anlage finden, z. B. die am Leibgurt hängenden (die
sogenannten Leibgurtstützen), gewähren nicht die sichere Auflage, weil sie nur einen
einzigen Stützpunkt haben, also das Schwanken der Waffe weder nach der Seite noch

ein Schwanken der Waffe zu verhindern. Bei der vorliegenden Erfindung wird die Dreipunktabstützung
am Körper des Schützen dadurch hergestellt, daß die Leibgurtstütze die beiden Stränge
des Schulterriemens spannt, also die Gewehrauflage in den Schnittpunkt der Leibgurtstütze
mit den von ihr gespannten beiden Schulterriemensträngen gelegt ist. Auf diese Weise
wird die eine Stütze des Dreifußes, die Druckstütze, von der Leibgurtstütze gebildet,
die beiden anderen, die Zugstützen, von den durch sie gespannten Riemensträngen.
Von den drei Stützpunkten liegt derjenige der Druckstütze. also der Leibgurtstütze,
