Die Kontakte und Hebel des Schaltmechanismus sind so ausgebildet, daß keine Unterbrechung des Summenstromes beider Kreise eintritt. In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellt. Parallel zuni Amperemeter a und der Kontaktbrücke k1 ist die Relaisspule r und die Kontaktbrücke k2 angeordnet. Im Anfang der Schaltzeit fließt der Strom nur durch den Kurzschlußstromkreis k2 und r, wie es Abb. z zeigt. Mittels der Relaisspule wird die Kontaktbrücke k, unterbrochen und das Amperemeter eingeschaltet (s. Abb. 3).
