Die Biegungsstellen des Blechbandes a sind in der Abb. i mit strichpunktierten Linien dargestellt. Die Verbindung der Enden des Blechbandes a an der Stoßstelle erfolgt durch die Lappen h und durch die Schlitze i und k. Hierbei werden die Lappen h des einen Endes des Blechbandes a unter entsprechendem Umbiegen durch die Schlitze i und k" des anderen Endes des Blechbandes a hindurchgeführt und umgekehrt (Abb. q.). Die Wandungen und Bodenteile des Holzkastens b, c, d stützen sich ohne jeden Verband (Vernagelung, Verschraubung o. dgl.) gegenseitig ab und werden durch den oben beschriebenen Metallrahmen zu einem festen Ganzen zusammengehalten. Bei der dargestellten Ausführungsform ist die Anordnung so getroffen, daß die Bodenbretter b und die Seitenwände d unmittelbar auf dem unteren Rand a1 des Rahmens a aufsitzen, während die Seitenwände c sich gegen die Bodenbretter b stützen. Der Rahmen hält den Holzkasten ohne jede Nagelung oder Verschraubung seiner einzelnen Teile zusammen. Die Ausbesserung oder Auswechselung von Holzteilen kann dabei auf einfachste Weise erfolgen.
