Description

Mold with patterned surfaces for vulcanizing hard and soft rubber goods o. The like. The manufacture of hard and soft rubber goods, especially in the form from plate. with a patterned surface, so far happens in such a way that the mixture is pressed onto a metal (or glass plate, which is provided with the required pattern is, and that vulcanization then takes place. lki the manufacture of goods, other Corporeal Fermen is proceeded accordingly by adding the hollow form in the Idas Vulcanizing is carried out containing the relevant pattern. The patterns themselves Are produced by engraving, grinding or the like, the production of such shapes and mold plates are time-consuming and expensive.

Hierbei brennt der Lacküberzug dann einfach ab.According to the invention, a new Vulkanisler mold created on the ground the knowledge that certain paints, especially those made with wood oil, are in when dry, extremely indifferent to rubber compounds, so that mav, on metal; plates, which are provided with such a lacquer coating, can vulcanize. The plate provided with the lacquer coating or such a shape can be lifted off the finished workpiece intact after vulcanization and can can be used again. It is advantageous that the vulcanization with the usual Tin foils can be made. If this occurs when removing from the finished workpiece are deformed, this is not a concern, since you are exactly the same as before can proceed by melting the tin foils. and neither be stretched out. The lacquer coating then simply burns off.

A particular advantage of the new shape lies in the following: B. used so-called ice flower decorations, the production of which is particularly time-consuming and costly as a negative pattern in the vulcanizing mold. It is known that lacquer, which contains wood oil or its chemical relatives, has the property of shrinking or coagulating when it dries. B. Craque pattern to form. Because of this property, this varnish is already used for covering. Commodities. The property of the paint mentioned can be used according to the invention to practically free. to equip the rubber goods with quite different and beautiful-looking surface patterns. Extensive experiments have shown that the patterns themselves are very different, depending on the composition and also on the consistency of the lacquer, depending on the type and time in which the lacquer coating is allowed to dry. The device can also be so treiieu that the paint pattern does not cover the entire surface of the workpiece and thus the shape. For example, with the help of the known tin printing process, certain patterns of regular or irregular ax can be applied to the metal plates used for vulcanization, which, of course, are not only made of tin. need to exist, transferred, and in this way one can also produce extraordinarily diverse patterns on the rubber goods; Here it is then also possible to use a varnish that dries up smoothly. One can. but also let the varnish applied in any pattern form (e.g. grid or checkered pattern) dry in the orphan so that it can turn ice flowers. Like. -patterning accepts. The explained invention is of course not limited in its application to pure rubber goods, but it can be used with corresponding advantage for all plastic masses that can be obtained by pressing, e.g. for Bakelite, celluloid, etc., with forms or parts of such materials if necessary. those not made of metal come into consideration. exist.
