Es sind bereits Aufsätze für Herde und Ofen bekannt, die die in den Abgasen enthaltene Wärme für Heizzwecke wirtschaftlich ausnutzen, indem die Abgase auf einem möglichst längen Wege mit einem Lufterhitzungskanal in Berührung gelangen, wobei gleichzeitig die Außenwände der Führungskanäle für die Abgase eine große Oberfläche besitzen.
