Description
The invention relates to a method for the production of covering materials, such as those used for Find clothing of upper decks for motor vehicles use.
The novelty in the process forming the subject of the invention produced covering materials consists in that the covering material with a one-sided fiber pile Is accidental.
Fabrics with one-sided fiber pile are known per se. With them, however, the Surface fibers part of the woven threads. This is what is produced in this way Fabric very expensive.
Bei derartig hergestellten Belagstoffen sindIt has already been suggested, in a much cheaper way, one with a denser Produce covering material provided with a fiber layer in that. from one to one fabric laid fiber layer more or less tufts of fibers with the help of needles be pushed through the meshes of the fabric, whereupon this through the fabric protruding fibers are combined with the fabric by applying a binding compound. It will form in this case So the dense fiber layer the top and the bonded by the binding compound Fiber bundle the underside of the covering material. In coverings produced in this way are
3„ die Fasern der auf der Oberseite liegenden Schicht nur durch wenige Faserbündel mit dem Gewebe verbunden, so daß die Fasern der Schicht sich leicht von dieser und dem Gewebe lösen und daher zur Erzeugung eines aufrechtstehenden Flores durch Bearbeiten mittels Rauh- und Schermaschinen nicht geeignet sind, da sie hierbei aus der Faserschicht herausgenommen werden.3 "the fibers of the one lying on top Layer only connected to the fabric by a few fiber bundles, so that the fibers the layer can easily be detached from this and the tissue and therefore to create a Upright Flores by processing with a hoisting and shearing machine is not suitable because they are removed from the fiber layer.
These deficiencies are remedied according to the present invention that after If possible, apply a fiber pile to the side of the fabric that will later serve as the back many fibers of this fiber layer using the needles known per se the fabric are pushed through and the fibers remaining on the backside one another and glued to the fabric by applying a waterproofing and gluing binder.
The one-sided fiber pile produced in this way can be used by all for the treatment of fiber pile provided fabrics known aftertreatment processes, e.g. B. roughing, scissors, felting etc., are subjected.
Es zeigt:In the accompanying drawing, the process forming the subject matter of the invention is shown in different embodiments shown. It shows:

A felted layer 10 of loose fibers is applied to the underside of the fabric 12. The fabric 12 can be coarse canvas, heavy cotton goods with open meshes or even thin white cotton goods. The felty layer ι ο is then with a large number of needles worked, which repeated in the bulk of the loose fibers and penetrate the mesh of the fabric 12 and open the ends 14 of many fibers push the opposite side of the fabric through as shown in Fig. 2. The thickness of the felt layer 10 can now be reduced to a required uniform thickness by searing or otherwise removing the excess fibers. In this state everyone has of the fibers extending through the meshes of the fabric of a length equal to extends through the fabric 12 into the felted layer 10 and in this lies. But since it is not attached with sufficient strength in this layer to the fibers against the pulling effect of the subsequent treatments, such as roughening, Scissors, felts, to secure becomes a solution · of rubber 16 in evaporating solvents applied to the felted layer 10, which contains the fibers of the felted layer and the The lower surface of the base fabric is impregnated and glued together, but without through the fabric 12 on the opposite or finished page to penetrate. After most of the solvent has evaporated, the rubber layer is intimately united with the fiber layer by pressing, as in Fig. 4 is specified. Soaking and sticking with rubber has the effect that any single fiber of the felted layer is combined with the other fibers so that the protruding ends on the finished side of the fabric cannot be pulled out.
The fibers 14 protruding on the upper side of the fabric can now be used in the pile fabric known way be treated or matted by roughening and shearing.
