Dann wird das Schutzband a unten fest um den Holzmast angezogen und an der Naht verlötet, so daß auch hier von außen keine Witterungsverhältnisse einwirken können. Das Stück Mast, das von dem Schutzband a umgeben ist, hat dadurch eine wesentlich größere Haltbarkeit bekommen.
