Der zum Einkleben des Buchs in die Decke dienende Tisch besteht aus
zwei Hälften a, die mittels einer Vorrichtung b gegeneinander verschiebbar auf Tragrahmen
c gelagert und geführt sind. An den gegeneinandergerichteten und mit einer Metallplatte
d versehenen Enden der Tischhälften a sind mit elastischer Auflage e versehene Walzen
f angeordnet, die mittels ihrer Lager g auf schwingend an den Tischstützen
s angeordneten Armen h ruhen. Die Lagerarme stehen hierbei unter Einwirkung
von Druckfedern i, durch die die Walzen e, f von unten gegen das Ende der Einlegeplatte
d gepreßt werden und so rückwärts elastisch durch die Arme h getragen werden. Die
auf den Armen c geführten Tischstützen s sind mit Feststellschrauben k versehen,
durch die es ermöglicht wird, die Tischplatte a bzw. die Walzen e, f in der gewünschten
Entfernung voneinander am Rahmen feststellen und sichern zu können. Um ein gleichmäßiges
Auflegen der Buchdecke auf den Tisch zu ermöglichen, sind auf diesem Anschlagschienen
m angeordnet, die mittels Einstellschrauben n gegeneinander verstellbar in Führungsschienen
o der Tischplattenhälften a gelagert und geführt sind. Um nun beim Einlegen des
beiderseits geleimten Buchs ein Beschmutzen der die Vorrichtung betätigenden Person
zu verhindern und das Buch sicher in den Preßwalzen zu führen, wird dieses vor dem
Einstellen in die Decke in eine besondere Klemmvorrichtung eingesetzt. Diese besteht
