Dieser Schraubenschlüssel zeichnet sich durch eine selbstthätige Hebelverlängerung aus, durch welche eine Erleichterung im Gebrauch erzielt wird. .This wrench is characterized by an automatic lever extension which makes it easier to use. .
Der Theil α nimmt in der Richtung der Hebelverlängerung eine Schraube d auf, welche durch Schraubengewinde und Nietstift g mit der Gabel e verbunden ist. b steht vermittelst Schraubengewinde mit der Schraubhülse c in Verbindung, welche durch einen Querstift/ mit der Gabel e in Verbindung steht. Bei einer Drehung nach links gleitet α in der Richtung der Maulöffhung vor, während c zurückgleitet und die Hebelverlängerung bildet. Auf je gröfsere Muttern man also den Schlüssel einstellt, um so länger wird der Hebel, wodurch ein bedeutend geringerer Kraftaufwand zur Anwendung kommen kann. Die Gewinde haben bei diesem Schlüssel gleiche Steigung, doch kann auch ein anderes Verhältnifs genommen werden.
