Description
The invention relates to a device for filtering and Separation of especially organic organic currents media through reverse osmosis as well as micro-, ultra- and Nanofiltration with a pressure-tight housing with a Inlet for the flow medium and outlets for the Retentate and the permeate and a majority in the housing picked stack consisting of a plurality of spaced-apart filter elements, which according to Art a membrane cushion are formed, the stack are flowed around by the flow medium and in the housing Most of these stacks of membrane cushions behind or is arranged side by side and with the stack facing to each other and next to each other around the flow medium be flowed.
A device of this type is known (DE-PS 29 45 317). This known device has stacks alternating spacers and membrane cushions. The membrane cushions between the membrane that forms them on the outside Brown layers or membrane elements have at least a drainage layer consisting of fine tissue in order to lead the permeate to a central opening more easily can. Another device of a similar type is shown in known for example from DE-PS 37 15 183. At this known device is the flow to be separated medium placed in an inlet of the device and around then flows in strict regularity between two Membrane cushions arranged alternately from the outside in and then from the inside out until it in enriched form after appropriate flow around of all membrane cushions the device as enriched Retentate leaves. The spacers are circular disc-shaped, the membrane cushion can even if circular disk-shaped or for Approaching a circular area an n-square Have a contour.
The known device provides for certain applications cases such as desalination, d. H. to win Drinking water from sea water, very good result se, with the known device also large filter element stacks the partial pressure differences zen of the flow medium between inlet and outlet in keep reasonable limits.
However, if flow media, e.g. liquid with a very high proportion of organic organic and / or also inorganic ingredients, separately should be there, however, disadvantageously form a filter cake very quickly, d. H. the In Ingredients sit on the membrane cushion or the locations of the spacer element in which the currents flow rate lower than elsewhere in the device, or on the protrusions raised from the surfaces of the Stand off spacers. The result is that the pre direction loses its separation efficiency and dismantled and optionally cleaned in a complex manner got to. This procedure is disadvantageous and regular too not feasible, because for many applications the pre direction must function almost maintenance-free, as a Interruption of the device function for Reini maintenance, maintenance and exchange purposes with serious linked to the ecological and economic consequences is.
It is an object of the present invention, a Vorrich tion of the type mentioned in the introduction Is capable of liquids with a high biological or ganic and / or inorganic content separate substances, leaving no deposits in the form a filter cake during operation should go, and the device, if necessary should be easy to clean and is to be maintained and that the device is simple and economical is inexpensive to manufacture and easily to the individual load level of the liquid to be separated speed can be adjusted.
The object is achieved according to the invention in that in the membrane cushions between them outer membrane elements each have a flat, non-porous stabilizing element to create a high inherent stability of the membrane cushion is arranged.
The advantage of the device according to the invention is essential in that by the invention struck arrangement of stacks of beabstan from each other the membrane cushions within the device, d. H. in inside the case, an open channel for that Flow medium is created with which, other than with the prior art mentioned at the beginning, extremely high Flow velocities of the flow medium between the inlet of the flow medium and the outlet of the Device as a retentate leaving flow medium are possible and thus the formation of deposits excluded in the form of a filter cake, for example is because the stack of membrane pillows is actually for that flow medium flowing like a longitudinal channel no dead zones have and the flow medium quasi deflection can flow from the inlet to the outlet of the device.
The quasi open channels proposed according to the invention for the flow medium as well as the dead zone and deflect flow control ensures minimization tion of the pressure loss of the device.
Depending on the type of materials used, especially the outer membrane elements of the membrane cushion, are the Membrane pillows more or less stable. The flat Stabilizing elements prevent the mem Brick pillow of the membrane pillow stack during operation touch bes the device, which in turn the Formation of deposition cells from ingredients of the Flow medium can be prevented, so that the Separating effect of the membrane cushions continuously upright lasts.
It is advantageous in the stabilizing element peripheral edge bevelled on both sides form what, on the one hand, leads to a better flow keep the flow medium in the edge area of the membrane kissens leads and on the other hand damage to the outside outer membrane elements of the membrane cushion by sharp Avoids edges.
Added advantage of such a stabilizing element arranged within the membrane pillow is the resultant formation of a flow channel with membrane elements arranged on both sides. This is associated with a reduction in the specific energy requirement (energy requirement per m 3 permeate) compared to previously known devices.
The stabilizing element is advantageously made of Plastic formed, but are generally bige other suitable materials, for example Composite materials or metal suitable. The vote the material of the stabilizing element depends on essentially on the type of flow medium or Pressure at which the device is related to the flow medium is operated from.
It has proven to be advantageous to the outside Spacing of the membrane cushions in the form of a strip elements to be provided, although it is basically also is possible, in each case around the permeate discharge openings Membrane cushions around annular spacers see. A strip-shaped spacer has given Neither the advantage that the assembly of the membrane cushion stack is facilitated.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the device the stacks of two each are the stacks in themselves enclosing, in the outer cross section essentially semicircular shell elements added. Thereby it is possible to place the stack between the shell elements to a certain extent from spaced-apart membrane chips sen prefabricated, so that the stack only in Housing of the device to be put together need, in terms of the amount of stacks in Dependent on the degree of stress of those to be separated Liquid.
To the number of items of the device also under the point of view of the goal of being as cost-effective as possible Keep availability low, it is advantageous that at least one of the shell elements one crossing the shell element in the longitudinal direction Permeate discharge channel, which with Permeateabflußöff openings in the inner floor area of the shell elements open, is connected. By design so to speak, the permeate drainage channel integral with the Shell elements formed.
The inner cross section of the shell element is preferably elements formed essentially rectangular, namely with dimensions chosen such that the membrane stack frictional between two in relation to their outer con semicircular shell elements is added, d. H. the membrane cushions are put together in this way act with the spacers arranged in between added that no additional clamping bolts that the Membrane cushions and the spacers in the mentioned Cross the state of the art, are necessary.
This positive connection of the stack of membrane pillow and these spacing spacers between the shell elements can advantageously can be achieved in that the shell elements under Inclusion of the respective stack by connecting means are releasably connectable, for example by means of a Bolt-nut connection.
According to an advantageous further embodiment of the Device is one of two interconnected Shell elements formed with a stacking shell neighboring stacking tray over one in the stacking tray trained bayonet connection releasably connectable, d. H. the stacked trays can be placed on one another can be non-positively connected to each other, with this embodiment of a connection of the Stacking trays among each other any suitable Amount of stacking trays can be put together depending on the proportion of ingredients in the liquid to be separated or due to others necessary specifications for using the device reaching degree of separation.
Two adjacent stacking trays can each in ver bound state releasable by means of a connecting means secured, for example also by means of a bolt-nut connection. This safe possibility also enables a specific Multiple stacking trays for installation in the housing completely pre-assemble the device.
The spacer element and / or the shell element can, although both elements are basically any suitable materials can be manufactured, preferably be made of plastic, so that these parts in a simple and inexpensive way for example in an injection molding manufacturing step can be produced with the result that these as Mass products can be provided inexpensively.
Als Kunststoff wird dabei vorzugsweise Polystyrol, Acrylnitril-Butadien-Styrol-Copolymere (ABS), Styrol- Acrylnitril-Copolymere (SAN) oder Luran verwendet.Polystyrene is preferably used as the plastic, Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymers (ABS), styrene Acrylonitrile copolymers (SAN) or Luran are used.

The device 10 essentially consists of a housing 11 , which is closed in a manner known per se on both sides with end elements 110 , 111 in a pressure-tight manner with respect to the housing 11 by means of circumferential sealing means 112 , 113 , for example in the form of so-called O-rings. In the end member 110 , an inlet 12 is hen hen for the flow medium 15 to be supplied to the device 10 . In the end element 111 , an outlet for the enriched flow medium, the so-called retentate, is easily seen and an outlet 14 for the permeate. The end members 110, 111 are secured by annular elements 114, 115, which have an external thread in its position in the housing 11, the housing 11 comprises at the respective positions of engagement of the ring members 114, 115 is internally threaded. The housing 11 preferably has a circular cross section, but this is not mandatory in all cases.
A plurality of stacking trays 27 , 270 is provided in the housing 11 , two stacking trays 27 , 270 being provided in the example according to FIG. 2. It should be noted that the number of stacking trays 27 per device 10 can be varied as a function of the length of the housing 11 , depending on the type of liquid to be separated or the type and extent of the organic and / or or inorganic ingredients.
The stacking trays 27 are all identical, so that only one stacking tray 27 is described below. A stacking bowl 27 consists of two Schalenele elements 19 , 20 , see FIGS . 7 and 8. The Schalenele elements 19 , 20 have a substantially semicircular outer cross section. The inner cross section of the shell elements 19 , 20 is essentially rectangular, two shell elements 19 , 20 connected to one another, see FIG. 7, having an approximately square or rectangular inner cross section. The shell elements 19 , 20 can be detachably connected by means of connecting means 26 , for example by means of a bolt-nut connection. Two shell elements 19, 20 close in to force fit a stack 18 a, by a plurality of Ab was elements 16, compare Fig. 8, is formed and arranged in each case between two spacer elements 16 by membrane pad 17. Membrane cushions 17 such as those used in the device 10 for forming the stack 18 together with the spacing elements 16 are described, for example, in EP-B-0 129 663. The membrane cushions 17 known per se used in the device 10 according to the invention have a known structure described in the aforementioned previously published document, so that reference is made to the aforementioned previously published document with regard to the structure of these membrane cushions 17 . The known membrane cushions 17 are modified in the device 10 such that a flat stabilizing element 172 is arranged between the actual membrane elements 170 , 171 which delimit the membrane cushion 17 externally. The stabilizing element 172 , which can be made of plastic, metal or any other material, is bevelled on both sides in the peripheral edge region 173 in order to form a more suitable leading edge for the flow medium 15 . Due to the modified structure of the membrane cushion 17 used here , it has a high degree of inherent stability.
The spacer elements 16 have an essentially strip-like shape, compare FIGS. 11 and 12. In the longitudinal direction, two spaced apart openings 160 , 161 are provided in the spacer element 16 . The spacer element 16 itself is advantageously made of rubber or any suitable plastic, compare for example FIGS. 11a, b and 12a, b. The spacer has openings 160 , 161 , which coincide with the permeate drain openings 174 , 175 of the membrane cushion 17 , see also Fig. 8. The spacer 16 has a sealing effect against two membrane pads 17 , between which it is enclosed and the distance between the two adjacent spring elements 17 according to its thickness. In the state of a stack 18 of membrane pads 17 as shown in FIG. 8, no flow medium 15 can reach the permeate drain holes 174 , 175 due to the dense effect of the spacer elements 16 .
The permeate drain openings 23 , 24 in the shell elements 19 , 20 , which have the same distance from one another in the longitudinal direction as the openings 160 , 161 of the stand elements 16 , open into a shell elements 19 , 20 which cross the permeate discharge channel 22 in the longitudinal direction. In FIGS. 13a, b drain bolt 164 represented by crosses, compare Fig. 8, the entire stack 18 of membrane cushions 17 and distance elements 16. The drain bolt 164 has a plurality of permeate drainage channels 165 in the axial direction, via which the permeate, which flows out of the membrane cushions 17 , through which openings 174 , 175 emerge, permeates and enters the meat outlet openings 23 , 24 of the shell elements 19 , 20 .
The above-described stack 18 is thus enclosed by the connecting means 26 force fit between two shell elements 19, 20, wherein in which state verbun of the shell elements 19, is ensured 20 that, of the membrane pad 17 that separate permeate 17 frontally from the Permeataustrittsöffnungen of the membrane pad 17 on the Opening in 160, 161 of the spacer elements 16 , via the permeate drainage channels 165 of the drainage bolts 164 and via the permeate drainage openings 23 , 24 of the shell elements 19 , 20 and can be collected in the permeate discharge channel 22 and from there to the outlet 14 of the device 10 .
Two adjacent stacking shells 27 , 270 according to the pre-specified structure can each be releasably connected in the stacking shells 27 , 270 formed bayonet connections 28 . In the connected state, the Renk connection 28 between two adjacent stacking shells 27 , 270 is also releasably connectable by means of a connecting means 19 . This connecting means can, for example, consist of a bolt-nut connection, similar to the connecting means 26 between the two shell elements 19 , 20 .
The spacer elements 16 and / or the shell elements 19 , 20 can consist of plastic, preferably of sprayable plastic. The plastic can be polystyrene, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymers (ABS), styrene-acrylonitrile copolymers (SAN) or made of luran. The spacer 16 can also be made of rubber.
For the intended function of the device 10 , a certain amount of stacking trays 27 is prepared, in the manner described above. The fully prepared, ie pre-assembled stacking trays 27 , each including the stack 18 from spacing elements 16 , drain bolts 164 and filter elements 17 are then connected via the bayonet connection 28 between two stacking trays 27 , 270 and secured by means of the connecting means 29 . Subsequently, the interconnected plurality of stacking shells 27 is inserted into an opening in the housing 11 , making sure that the permeate drain channel 22 of the stacking shells 27 are connected to one another in a pressure-tight manner and from the last stacking shell 27 into a corresponding opening in the other housing opening 111 End element 11 opens. Subsequently, the housing 11 is closed by the second end element 110 via the ring element 115 , it being ensured that an axial movement of the plurality of interconnected stacking trays 27 in the housing 11 is not possible. Subsequently, the flow medium is passed into the device 10 15 for the intended use and flows around virtually in the form of an open channel all the way behind the other arranged filter elements 17 of the successively arranged respective receptacles 27 and therein arranged behind one another stack 18th As a result, a high speed of the flow medium 15 is reached from the inlet 12 to the outlet 13 . The permeate, which is supplied by the membrane cushion 17 in a known manner, flows via the openings 160 , 161 or the permeate discharge openings 23 , 24 of the shell elements 19 , 20 to the permeate discharge channel 22 and from there to the device-side outlet 14 and is used there from there for further use fed.
