Verfahren zur Herstellung eines basischen Calcium-Aluminium-Nitrats. Es wurde gefunden, daß eine bisher unbekannte @'erbindting entsteht, wenn man eine Aluminiumoxyd oder Aluminiumnitrat enthaltende Calciunmitratlösung, vorteilhaft bei höherer Temperatur -Lind unter Rühren, mit C@alciumoxyd versetzt. Es bilden sich feine, verfilzte, farblose Kristallnadeln, die durch Abfiltrieren und Waschen mit Alkohol rein zu erhalten sind. Ihre durch Analyse gefundene Zusammensetzung entspricht meist der Formel 6 Ca0, 3 N206, A1203, io H.0. I3iernach ist die Auffassung des Salzes als Calciumnitrat-Calciutnaluininat-Hydrat gegeben. Durch Wasser, besonders durch solches saurer Reaktion, wird die neue Verbindung zu Calciumnitrat, Calciumhydroxyd und :1ltiminiuinhy-droxyd zersetzt.
