Abstract

Two Al tubular members are joined by a method in which an Fe ring member (2) is inserted into one tubular member (16), leaving part extending out of the tube, and the second tubular member (10) is put on the extended part. Aufsetzen des zweiten rohrförmigen Aluminiumteils auf den Teil des Ringteils aus Eisen, der sich aus dem rohrför­ migen Aluminiumteil erstreckt;
Erwärmen von einem Paar Formen, die eine geringere Breite als das Ringteil aus Eisen haben, auf eine Tempera­ tur von 660°C; und
Anbringen der Formen an der Stelle, an der die beiden rohrförmigen Aluminiumteile miteinander verbunden sind, so daß die beiden rohrförmigen Aluminiumteile miteinander ver­ schmelzen.
