Fig. 1 zeigt ein zweireihiges Schrägkugellager mit einem erfindungsgemäßen Käfig im Teilquerschnitt. Der Einteilige Außenring ist mit 1 bezeichnet. Erfindungsgemäß ist der Käfig 3 zwischen den Wälzkörperreihen mit einer in Umfangsrichtung verlaufenden Sollbruchstelle 7 verse­ hen. Dadurch lassen sich bis zum Zusammenbau des Lagers die in die Käfigtaschen eingesetzten Kugeln 2 zu­ sammen mit dem Käfig als ein Teil handhaben, nach dem Zusammenbau des Lagers aber kann durch Trennen an der Sollbruchstelle sichergestellt werden, daß im Betrieb des Lagers auftretende unterschiedliche Abrollverhält­ nisse unter den Kugelreihen keine Zwangskräfte auf die jeweils andere Kugelreihe ausüben. Ein Vor- oder Nach­ laufen der Kugelreihen in Umfangsrichtung wird so mög­ lich. Es ist in manchen Anwendungsfällen ebenso denk­ bar, den Käfig zunächst nicht zu trennen. Wenn im Be­ trieb dann die Zwangskräfte eine vorbestimmte Höhe überschreiten, wird die Trennung an der Sollbruchstelle von selbst erfolgen und somit eine Schädigung des Lagers vermieden. Dabei kann die erfolgte Trennung an der Sollbruchstelle auch als Nachweis dienen, daß das Lager zu hohen Belastungen ausgesetzt war.
